Gents

As we have been speaking about the GEO’s profile....

Per the SPAngel Note they have

“ 84.9k in 2018 and 107.7k in 2019 “

Clearly where we want to be heading and let us see the outcome of Q3 which hopefully could nudge us well over the AAZ stated top range of 84k GEO’s for this year !!

SP Angels note of 17 Sept. So partially outdated by the run of three RNS but great operational info update.

I LOVE the picture of the ore in Gadir, that's some rich stuff! I guess that's what 93g/t looks like :)

Jbravo2 - Can you please let me know where you saw the info. About drilling Ordubad this year, I don't recall this anywhere.

Cheers

Slim picking for the buyer at this level .. he took 399/400 in the auction. Left one there to make sure the next auction appears to keep the price steady. Artful

Just a recap from the last rns geological update in addition to the heli geo survey over laying the whole of Gedabek 300kmsq acreage...

Gedabek - Geological update

The Group's three-year geological exploration programme commenced during the year. The major results from the programme for the six months to 30 June 2018 are as follows:

· There is increased confidence in the short to medium term production profile at the Gadir underground mine ("Gadir") following confirmation of continuation of the Gadir ore-body down-dip and potentially along strike.

· Significant gold grades of up to three ounces per tonne (93 grammes per tonne) were intersected in drilling and confirmed by underground tunneling at Gadir.

· Numerous areas of high grade mineralisation adjacent to the current Gadir operation were identified. It is expected a resource and reserve estimate for Gadir will be published in Q4 2018.

· Additional mineralisation beneath the Gedabek open pit was confirmed which will be the subject of further underground evaluation accessed by tunnels developed from the Gadir mine.

· Extensive alteration zones of porphyry style previously discovered at Ordubad with confirmation of copper and gold mineralisation, are now the subject of an extensive geochemical sampling programme.

Roll on the coming weeks leading year end...

Stock is very tight again, just had a little top up.
That didn't show on the trade screen again.

Re Ordubad: the Company is planning a comprehensive exploration programme to understand the genesis and the extent of the massive porphyry style alteration zones with present copper/gold mineralisation. In particular, the team is planning to collect 5,000 surface grab samples over the 1,500x1,000m alteration zone on a 50x100m grid as well as mobilising a drilling rig for Q4/18 to test identified targets.

I agree that Ordubad's development must be the plan A at present for development given the points already aired on here and given the importance attached to the quality of the asset in the IPO plus the current knowledge being acquired.
As has been pointed out in the past Ordubad is in Nakhchivan and that is the part of Azerbaijan that President Aliyev hails from and an area where any economic development would be welcomed and encouraged.
taking J B's comment as well I would also imagine given some of the tone and comments Steven W has been making over the last 12 months it seems logical that the heli survey will be a key factor in determining how the remaining FCF is deployed.
Given the success and speed with which Ugur came on stream ( and the regularity that this statement has featured in company presentations)you can imagine some confidence exists that if a similar opportunity became immediately apparent the will is there in AAZ to maximise it.

Edit. I was assuming in saying the above that we also have to account for Gedabek/Gadir development as part of plan A.

Hi Jb, thanks for your reply, appreciated, am also a substantial long term holder of these beauties, which I won't be cashing in anytime soon, far too much good news to come, and the yield is mouth watering. Tremendous company

7c for the FY 2018 is my sneaky feeling as well....obviously depends on Q3 Update, maybe some extra capex for growth now or new mines....what a great story that would be.....

Hi bob,
No it doesn't. They're just doing Gedabek with the heli.
Ordubad is being grab sampled and a drill is going there in Q4

Yes mf, I'd say new mines are a certainty.
Ordubad is the obvious next move, but of course, once we have a pile of cash we might find other opportunities in other locations looking for someone to pay for development.

Life changing share. Once in a lifetime stuff for me.
Excited to see where we'll be this time next year.

Oh and on the dividend I'd be surprised if the final isn't slightly more than the interim. I've got 4c as my forecast but granted we don't know til we see selling price for rest of year.

Very worth reading the RNS out at ECR minerals this morning.

May just have hit onto something.

One other point which I'm not sure anyone has mentioned. If 25% of FCF is going to be paid out as divis, what plans are there for the surplus? I'm assuming new mines in Azerbaijan are very likely, given the strong and positive relationships with the authorities there.

The reduced volume suggests that we may be going back to business as usual. Given the illiquidity of AAZ and the chances that some buyers on the Midas tip don't know much about what they were buying and also that we have probably acquired some momentum investors, I would not be surprised to see a few top up opportunities materialising over the next few weeks and months. I topped up not long ago when inexplicably it was marked down to 39p. You have to be quick, mind. One thing for sure, if the share price does stabilise, we are now being paid handsomely for waiting. Which is nice.

So Reza Vaziri holds 32,796,830 of the shares; close to 29%.

Dividend currently 6c pa; roughly 4.5p pa.

Reza bags £1.47-mn pa - before tax - in divi income.

For sure, PI shareholders and Reza's interests are very aligned here.

Ditto these guys [shareholdings and %]:

John Sununu 10,734,540 9.390%
Khosrow Zamani 1,418,352 1.241%
Richard Round 361,680 0.316%
Prof John Monhemius 341,890 0.299%

Accordingly, the negligible risk of equity dilution has always been a huge +ve for investing here; in contrast to the gammut of other small PM companies on offer.
Now, the same can be said for the attractions an enduring high divi income stream and the 25% of FC flow guidance underpinning it.
