Yeah awful markets.

I am not selling out of anything at a loss but am not adding anymore either.
Time to sit on my hands and wait for things to show signs of recovery. I thought like many that was yesterday but clearly not!!

Good luck all 👍🏻

Then that'll be the turn of ANTO as follows:

Ex-div date 20 Apr 2023 (Thu)
Pay date 12 May 2023 (Fri)

Yes Thursday for the divi at $0.74 so about 60p a share. That's over 2% on current price from that divi alone.

I think so VAS but when is the question.

I have been adding to most of my holdings these past few days as I do think the sell off is overdone. It's interesting that the US is actually up today but we are way down!!

Hopefully soon this one starts heading north again but I am holding for the divi / long term so am not worried that much by the short term.

Good luck all 👍🏻

It is always worth putting in optimistic limit orders (buy and sell) in a volatile market. If that trigger, great. If they do not, nothing lost.

I have had a buy order in here at 17.40 for ages, and it triggered this morning at 17.33.

By tomorrow I may be wishing it had been a 16.40 order (that's life, or at any rate investing), but longer term anything under 30 ought to be OK. Here's hoping anyway, as my current average is only a tad under that!

I don't think anyone should beat himself up over a purchase at 28.14. My first purchase here was at 35, which seemed a good price at the time. Anglo A has a nice spread of metals, so with luck in 5 years time (and with another 10 dividends under my belt) 35, never mind 28, will not look a bad entry point.

With dividends coming up soon in BHP, Rio and Anglo I shall not be complaining if the Anglo price drops a bit more, as it is a holding I am looking to build up a bit more.

Powder dry for any opportunity under £27. It would be nice to get my average down..I only joined the party yesterday @ £28.14 ..horrible timing as usual(guffaw!!).Still, with a view to collecting the divis in my ISA, I'm quite relaxed about adding lower down.

I dunno, I think 26.70 looks a good entry price if you bag the divi. If the US takes another bath today we might get there ..

I'm kind of assuming we don't, but if the close next Wednesday is anything near/ under 27.50 then 26.00 looks like it could be a bit of a magnet next day when it goes xd.

Theory, bound to fail & miss out!
