Have a happy new year all.
Not had much chance to comment on the recent rise, however just be wary of volumes and the time of the year and ignore for the moment the dis joint between AYM and LIM AIM and TSX as part of it is also linked to GBPAUD.

Wish you all a prosperous new year and let hope AYM is back above 10p in the not so distant future.

Strange we're not mimicking Lim more closely. The arb trade must be Buy AYM, sell LIM, surely.
I expect AYM to move up into line over coming days and weeks.

With regard to Parys Mountain, I wouldn't be surprised if AYM were negotiating support funding with Gwynedd Council and the Welsh assembly. Both are keen to create jobs and should be willing to give them £25k - £30k per job ultimately created, so perhaps £1m.

Laser, I'm in the dribble or is it drivvel camp. AYM is only linked to the LIM price not the LIM + IO price. The IO price determines, to some effect the price of LIM and if it reaches 50c then that more or less reflects AYM's stake. We only have to look at the LIM/AYM table above to see how far we have fallen. Let's hope the strength in LIM continues but it's early days to know if we will see a penny added to AYM anytime soon.

i been looking at some comparisons on the aym share price in relation to lim over say the last 6mths if you take 33c which we are around that mark today i reckon the share price of aym should be around the 5.37p thats based upon no news negative or positive just volumes of aym
io price being stable presently at $134
eg lim 1/10 43c
1/11 33c

the reason the aym mkt cap did not fall off a cliff here when lim hit 17c was that there was not enough aym volume in sells to create that senario sellers basically all out

if the rise in lim continues then 40cto 50c for lim that could have a big impact here as io price is greater now than when lim was last @50c aym was running at an share price of 7.33p

some may think this all dribble but i am positive about this still doing a re trace upwards without any news
so if we get some news on zinc in upward trends above $1 lb then that would light the fire

i bet you will laugh at this post diesel but its only my opinion

mm bmcm moved also on the offer price love a big trade to come in to see if they will actually be knocked off the pedastle on the l2

they move up the offer but reluctant to move the bid price makes the margin ridiculous
suppose its to deter the day traders as once you buy you are locked in really until news etc

lol you get the funds & take out those mm, wins moved to 4.75p for 40k but my l2 on this one always seems false i will post it up if you need couple of mm have 2x 40k avail at 4.5p so may be poss to pick up that at 4.40p . these screens can change quite quickly when investors get interested in a stock. Trades in the background ,&delayed also go on, so you dont see the actual picture till the share has gained momentum

morning Laser,
I know, was pondering about which one to top up as both loosing,BEM and AYM,
and did a small BEM first, then we started off here, missed the boat ,but still cheap,at this silly level,I will have to get funds across to do some damage then

well done, could be the only chance now,as we have hopefully said goodbye to that bottom...reminds me so much of the 4p days of years back and that heady climb to 90p or so,and then we did not have half as much happening as of now,
yes more debt and dilution but it's an up and running concern now,

It's daft that we are talking about AYM as if they were in North America,
but that's the trouble,we are as it seems for the present a cash shell for that

lim has to have value in its licence's & plant i cannot see it being put on care & maintenance, lim due the 25m from tata re howse so that would clear the debts then they could not actually MINE ore, but have other parties transport the raw material to them.. LIM PROCESS & ships to port with the assets they have i feel some sort of business plan will unfold for 2014 must be a few options available to them, i reckon they want to be involved in whatever unfolds in the trough , Century with its chinese backers propose building a partial a rail link for one of their dso sites , all these satelite deposits are scattered all over the place some will actually need truckers to move the raw ore i did not realise that Centuary deposit actually again borders onto nml lims deposit
i can actually see them resisting a buy out as they want to remain in control of what has been built so far. If a bid does actally materialise be interesting to see what happens here to aym

There's enough Manc's and Scousers dashing down the A55 onto Anglesey, every friday night, perhaps they could make more out of Paris as a Theme Park, with Chalets and caravans.

diesel,
I am in AYM only, for my sins,..hoping this may get the rub off effect from LIM

Never bought outside of the uk,should give it a try perhaps as it's over there the fireworks...but this reminds me of years back buying at these lows and selling a few, good few at 20p@s,I know I am poor at timing, but with knocks of other shares at the same portfolio,it gives you the ebie geebies to keep or not keep longer.

Aber, what are you buying LIM or AYM, as I see it if LIM doubled we would be at about fair value for AYM's interest, I know that doesn't put any value on Parys but until they show some sort of plan to bring this to production I'm not sure what value it has!

Certainly interesting what has happened over on tsx in the last two trading days. Something known? Re-rating? Just a bounce?
