13/5/2024 13:04 | That video posted above is just what is/was required … well done. | ![]() buttyboy

13/5/2024 09:46 | Yip the share price has moved down disproportionately but will never go up disproportionately | ![]() spacedust
13/5/2024 09:11 | Certainly would be good to see the new ceo present..introducing themselves to shareholders a giving the market a refresh of the opportunity with up to date likely recoverable copper zinc and PMs and the impact on NPV using current metal prices might get noticed in with the improving sentiment in the sector. | ![]() kooba
13/5/2024 08:50 | Is there any formal message that 3 holes is the max and not 6? As far as us investors are concerned we are now awaiting the results of DH4. Whether the drilling company supplied 1 rig or 2 should be immaterial; the only difference being the timeframe to completion. I would hazard a guess and say its lack of kitty and if this is the case then they really have an obligation to say DH3 is the final one of this current campaign. Hitting a void whilst drilling is not too unusual; it depends on how big/wide the void is. Core loss will be inevitable and if the void is large then the hole might deviate but there again, down the hole surveying will correct this. The void will not be due to historic mine workings (too deep). They state it is probably due to fault action but nevertheless you would not normally terminate a hole whilst in high-grade mineralization (this so-called high-grade mineralization would have only been visual at this stage as no assays will have been done). A big question mark!! | ![]() buttyboy
13/5/2024 08:25 | Apart from the interim CEO question, my first thoughts were : i) Only 3 holes (six were planned). Maybe they had hoped to get 2 rigs and could only get one, in which case is the budget still there for another three holes? ii) NCZ003 terminated in high grade when hitting a void. They said they thought it was geological, why? Do they think the old mines didn't go that deep? Hopefully they have the data they need to improve the resource from 'inferred' status. Look forward to that. The EIA should be ready to be issued as Jo suggested it was just about complete. As for Grangesburg, well it has the potential to be transformative, so fingers crossed. | ![]() noccer
13/5/2024 08:07 | Have a feeling they are going to release value from their Grangesberg stake, it was telegraphed by Jo (former CEO) in his last podcast, if so it will be happy days for shareholders who have watched the paint dry here for a very long time now. With such a low free float the shares can move up disproportionally. | ![]() mininglamp
13/5/2024 07:57 | DH3 results are showing continuity (as perhaps expected) but as mentioned previously it’s all part of the process to start the PFS. What really bothers me is why the interim Chairman is commenting on this news and not the new CEO, as already mentioned in this thread this morning?? The new CEO is now into his second week “in the job” and this would have been an ideal opportunity for him to ‘formally̵ | ![]() buttyboy
13/5/2024 07:45 | Wil it make a difference to the share price though | ![]() spacedust
13/5/2024 07:40 | Yes, good news though I also am curious why not from the new CEO? Maybe he's busy in Sweden selling Grangesberg for loadsamoney! Good news on that front very welcome too. Gla. | ![]() bodgit
13/5/2024 07:34 | Me too pistolpete..i thought would be the opportunity to deliver first rns and maybe set out next moves , which i presume as well as getting the data together for NCZ to be moved to indicated as a separate upgrade that there will be timeline to have a PFS delivered ..Though much of what is required is in train , it will still be a big body of work.Hoping there will be a presentation setting out a roadmap of how we move this to development shortly. | ![]() kooba
13/5/2024 07:26 | Agreed kooba - I am a little surprised that our new CEO isn't the man commenting in the RNS | ![]() pistolpete100

10/5/2024 10:33 | buttyboy : shortage of copper is expected to be long term. I share your concern that more infill drilling likely needed as it looks like only 3 holes were drilled and not the 6 we were promised. I agree that fund raise needed. In an environment where shortage of copper is predicted for many years these things are more likely to happen than if a supply glut and falling metals prices are predicted. Of course this is how it all got off the ground in 1987-1990 when there was a metals price boom, and why it never moved from pilot to production when the price boom went bust. | ![]() noccer
10/5/2024 09:30 | Some sorta filming project happening at Parys last week. One wonders if Battershill is giving the new inexperienced man some training on making blockbuster videos? Or perhaps the BBC making a documentary about corrupt AIM companies screwing investors? | ![]() trader465
10/5/2024 08:48 | Noccer; the copper price can go to the Moon but it is immaterial if Parys Mt is not yet ready to be a mine. There are fundamental loops to jump through first; these include more infill drilling, the completion of at least a pre-feasibility study (PFS) and satisfaction of all environmental concerns. The problem in the past is there has been no systematic approach but rather a bit here and a bit there and then you lose focus. However, before any of this can happen there has to be a significant fund raise, enough to see the project through to PFS. Some have mentioned hiving off Parys Mt into a new entity but right now that will not give you anymore value that is currently applied. | ![]() buttyboy
10/5/2024 08:22 | Copper price rising, much more talk about supply not meeting demand, not enough new projects. While AYM's resource is probably too small too impact the global supply shortfall a rising price should improve the project economics. I wonder when we will hear something from the new CEO? | ![]() noccer
09/5/2024 09:07 | The book has turned positive here all of a sudden with only £3k of shares on offer, this stock is very illiquid I recall, hit 2.1p in January this year and 3.1p in 2023. Might be worth a trade. | ![]() broken_arrow1
04/5/2024 00:07 | With luck, he might be playing Glencore, BHP and Rio Tinto off against each other to start a bidding war on AYM. Who knew that copper reserves could be so exciting ! | ![]() j5thumbs
01/5/2024 12:56 | If I were to hazard a guess, I reckon they will have cut back on the drilling meters/number of holes to preserve cash. | ![]() buttyboy |
