11/1/2024 15:10 | Bermuda, I'll quote direct from the RNS which apparently one of us didn't read "Both the CTCs and the ctDNA were sequenced using identical protocols. The CTC analysis provided additional information beyond that which could be obtained from ctDNA alone. Some variants were found only in ctDNA " Hence the hype about joint analysis adding value of course. Everyone knows whole CTCs have more info in total, but only a subset (if any) are usually captured. AGL have only been beating the drum about that extra CTC info being the reason d'etre for their ctc enrichment tech these past 12 years in every RNS. How would that be anything remotely claimable as a breakthrough in a research paper? Everyone in the field also knows that ctDNA must nevertheless contain mutations missed by CTC analysis, because for the 100th time, ctDNA is effectively sourced from a wider ranger of tumour cells. That is why the hyped "break through" is in fact just routine cofirmatory work. Mr K good luck with your surgery. | banshee | |

11/1/2024 12:00 | @BC ... exactly. What's the point of being a 'trader', otherwise? And, if the price drops enough, you buy again. In the longer term, it's all just noise and has nothing whatsoever to do with the underlying value of the company. | saltraider |
