Miavoce - that's primarily due to there being much more stock available but as a percentage it's still very impressive and we're witnessing a likely shift in the shareholder base. The most important thing is there is now a demand for stock. 5 sessions ago there wasn't. The de-risking is underway. The question is how many are prepared to gamble now as opposed to waiting until further evidence emerges.

Well over 190m traded over the last 4 days which is completely unprecedented. This is clearly much more than just PI activity so IMO there is something significant brewing. Quite what remains to be seen.

Illumina inc up over 6% in the US. This is a $20 billion company of which Angle is now in discussions with. Takeover by Illumina imo

"ANGLE is engaging with Illumina, leading KOLs and oncologists to seek their input and consideration of the benefits of the combined ctDNA / CTC-DNA approach giving a new and unique insight into cancer clonal evolution. The early stage responses have been encouraging."

Banshee,

Firstly it's utterly ridiculous to spread angst regarding competition for Parsortix as if there will only ever be one successful CTC liquid biopsy system. There is plenty of room for others. Indeed the more companies researching and providing evidence of the utility of CTCs, the greater the uptake and the bigger the overall market. Angle don't need to capture 100% of the market and with a market cap of around £65m that certainly isn't the investment case here.

Regarding your comments on the Iset system and peer reviewed evidence, have a read of the paper below in which researchers carried out a head to head comparison between the 2 systems in NSCLC patients being treated with anti PD-1 therapy (an important market for Angle given the recent launch of their PD-L1 assay). Their findings suggest that both systems perform well, but:-

'When comparing the automated approaches, the ISET and Parsortix systems provided similar yield for H1975 cells (55% ± 12% and 57% ± 11%, respectively) and SKMES-1 cells (59% ± 10% and 57% ± 16%, respectively). However, higher recovery rates were observed for A549 cells by the use of Parsortix compared to ISET (87% ± 5% and 44% ± 10%, respectively, Two-sided T-test; p = 0.017). Both systems resulted in an apparently proper cell morphology and similar immunofluorescence staining intensity (Figure 3Bi,ii).'

Regarding your comments on speed of processing, you are correct although it's not quite as straightforward as you suggest:-

'Blood filtration using the ISET platform is rapid and provides samples of high purity; however, cells were captured in 10 different spots, which were individually stained and analyzed after immobilization on 10 slides. Finally, samples enriched using the Parsortix system are of high purity, and isolated cells can be harvested and transferred in one single slide; however, the enrichment procedure is time consuming'

TRading has/is happening, but I feel someone is stake building and someone(s) are feeding this with sells, not sure why/who would sell now but if a large holder was in at the lows they might like to take the 100%+ and walk.

Nobody thinks what you're saying has any influence on the share price. It's just getting a bit monotonous. And no I'm going to filter you as you're not that annoying...yet. Best to be honest in where you stand in all this like that pyro Firestarter. There's never a doubt which side of the fence that lemon sits. :))

I'm flattered some people here think i am affecting the price merely by posting links to peer reviewed papers and the like. Someone on the LSE said AGL's first Pharma services client dropped out of the contract. No idea if this is true, but no doubt one of you well informed close observers of the co day to day (no I don't bother) will be able to say.

So if you're no longer invested ( having sold at the top -of course!) why are you filling this thread with upteen posts on the failings of AGL's Parsortix product. Sounds a bit like PWhite trying to save our souls on the AVCT thread. You've made your points now so probably best to give it a rest and let whatever happens happens. If it crashes then you have warned us, if it moves up on further positive news it won't make a difference to you as you've already sold...at the top, remember ;)

It is a decent reserach device, thogh even there you will find users (eg. prof Aceto) need to develope their own elaborate protocols for using the device to get the accuracy they need. However, I suspect that last point also applies to most or all of the competition as well though I haven't seen it specifically referenced.

It can be used commercially, but it is fair to say that is has significant drawbacks in that role,

I once believed tne hype too, now I am only here to inject a note of realism. If the debate was balanced and of decent quality I would have better things to do than post, in fact I am neither a bull or a bear. I just dislike such obvious hyping.

A few years ago there were people on here saying confidently on here there would be a Parsortix machine in every GP's surgey by now. That is what hype can do.

All imo dyor
