Revisit the question in 2nd q. |
Yes I feel it's going to be some time before they see any kind of income from this though but down the line it looks very good . They have to negotiate getting to there yet and will need some cash and revenues to pick up quite a lot to narrow the gap but it's a win as you say.
They raised 9m only a few months before results last year ,I think that money has almost gone and a few quid more as results approach in may,/ June . Hence why I suspect another one will be needed before then . What price it's at depends on news in the next few months . . |
Andrew always likes, sensibly a 6 month window. If they raise, and at what price is at this point, unknown, but after today more likely at a premium than a big discount. That's not for now. Enjoy the wins, and today was a big win |
which was, exactly?
Above post rather proves mine ;¬)
At least it did before it was edited, without indication :¬( |
Above two posts kind of prove my point .
Waterloo no worries from me things change and you have to change with them . Happy to concede the down cycle seems to be coming to an end finally after many years here . Still some obstacles remain but it's picked up at least . Let's hope momentum can be maintained with further deals and a raise at a reasonable price to see them closer to break even . I think the time set for that was early 2026 but that was before the revenue misses last year . Not sure if they have stated a new estimate for breaking even yet. |
thiopia - get with the programme!
bones is a pita and he knows it - part of the cultivated persona. dazzle - appreciate the sentiment, but in my long experience of advfn, I can tell you that all posts telling other posters what they should or should not post are a total waste of time. Including, inevitably, this one :¬(
If you don't like them, filter or ignore, but never, ever, take them seriously ;¬) |
Appreciate the post bones. I've never got in a disagreement with you, but your tone has been a bit on the bleak side. As you say, it looks better today than at anytime since pre fda approval. A deepend relationship with illumina would certainly accelerate adoption and revenues. |
Bones and his alter ego havingthelast...Has been deramping this since 7.5p bid.Bitter, angry and sad. I love the fact bones will be with us as we rise. The rise will drive him insane. Just hope his partner and kids don't get the full brunt if his frustration |
7.25 was the bottom but you were urging everyone to sell at 7.5 to help your short |
![](https://images.advfn.com/static/default-user.png) OK let's keep a bit of perspective, guys.
Over the years bones698 and I have had several run-ins, and it's only by the thinnest of threads that I have never filtered him (as I have many others). He totally fails to realise, it seems, that he has brought all that hostility entirely on himself: not so much because of his views as such, unpalatable as many find them, but because of his sneering, arrogant, holier-than thou attitude and language and his contempt for those with whom he disagrees.
Nonetheless I have to admit that he has historically been right more often than wrong, so I fear we have to give him that.
And I think technically he is also correct in saying that a cash runway into early 2026 may not in itself be long enough to avoid a fundraising by probably June/July 25, unless the company is willing to risk a going concern qualification - generally considered a "black mark" - when the 2024 results are announced. (The 2023 results were announced on 2 June 2024).
It's always possible that there will be some sort of last-minute rescue - such as, perhaps, a deal with the likes of AZ or Illumina involving let's say £10m of upfront cash? but we've been waiting a long time for that, and there's no doubt that time is running out.....
Disclosure: I have no aliases and no connection with any other poster; have built up my family holdings in AGL bit by bit over the last 10 years, often (not always) at the wrong prices; have not sold a single share during that period, and have no intention of doing so at these levels; and currently speak for over 1m shares.
Bones, the message is clear: be politer and friendlier to your fellow posters and you might get a politer response and - who knows - maybe even some constructive and intelligent debate. Meanwhile could I enter a heartfelt plea: can both sides of the argument please drop the constant slagging-off, it's exceedingly tiresome and utterly spoils what would otherwise be a good board with some intelligent posters. @sicilian_kan I wonder whether you might feel able to be more proactive? |
Chart progression is great. Very constructive pattern.

Andrew already saying that it's available to illumina customers |
Divvy darmz filtered after reading the first two of his 20 posts
Can't see bones but I can see he's been desperately trying to talk the company down
I'd advise closing those shorts of yours bones
You've watched it rise 50% from 10p and 100% from 7.5p
You're about to witness a huge stampede to buy shares when the next contract is announced

Have you got nothing better to do with your life than sit on ADVFN and type paragraphs of rubbish about a company you don't hold shares in?
It's truly pathetic to read.
AGL are making strides forward, the next RNS could easily be a formal partnership with Illumina which includes them taking an equity stake in AGL. If you said to me this time last year that SpaceX would invest in FTC and shares would be up 400% I'd have never believed it. The same thing could happen here. |
We were told not only a week ago the cash position and funded until 2026 |
Given that last year's placing was at 15p, and subcribers then saw their investment almost halve in a matter of months,it was always likely that a recovery to 15p would provoke some selling. But once these frustrated placees are out then we should enjoy a good run up into the 20's. |
