Good post by callmebwana off the AMC boiler room rampers thread. For the first time provides the bones of a business case. He certainly has some skin in the game and looking at a substantial loss.

Some takeaways include:-

+ Acknowledgement ".....can take up to 4 years before AMC starts production".

+ Acknowledgement that for AMC to survive requirement for a JV partner "Who is going to be a J/V partner" to AMC?

+ ".....could also be a T/O target too". Is that after they go bust acknowledging it having an incredibly weak balance sheet and therefore negotiating position.

+ Acceptance the AMC share price will fall much further "I may buy some more if the price drops to my liking".

+ Disappointment uses strong language against posters who have an alternative viewpoint on the future of AMC.

My investment case,as to why I am invested in AMC. I hold close to 1.6 Million shares in AMC. I am not asking anyone to buy/sell. These are my views only. After all this is an AIM Co.I am prepared to take the risk. Don't put any money in the Stock Market that you can't afford to lose. :0) So plesse DYOR. NAI.

A GLOBALLY SIGNIFICANT NICKEL SULPHIDE PROJECT.

1) Kun-Manie Project is one of the highest grade,undeveloped Nickel Sulphide deposits globally,capable of supplying significant quantities on yearly bases.

2) The only new Nickel Sulphide asset of any significance in Asia.
I am very happy with this :0)

3) Limited number of global projects sheduled to come into production to meet forecast Nickel demand making Kun-Manie an essential asset to develop.

4) JORC mineral resource estimate containing 155.1 Million ore Tonnes comprising a Nickel equivalent grade of 1.02% equating to total of 1.58 Million equivalent Tonnes of Nickel.

5) Mine life of 15 years and can be extended as IKEN and KUB may merge into a long pit measuring over 4 KM.

You have to be in to win. The useless derampers are having a field day spouting rubbish at the moment. None of them or us know what is happening in the background.
I am quite a happy holder here.This project is not going to happen tomorrow. It can take up to 4 years before AMC starts production.Things will move at their own pace.
All I know for sure is, all the Analists are very bullish on Nickel price(Wood Mac is forecasting a price of $28K a Tonne in 3 years time). The EV Batteries Manufacturers are worried about the supply of Nickel. China is the largest manufacturer of EV Batteries. BAM Railway will ship the ore/matte into China.
The Russians want this resource developed,many posts by Tad tells us that.
Most importantly we have Nickel SULPHIDE not Laterite. It costs a lot more to remove impurities from Nickel Laterite then Sulphide.
Who is going to be a J/V partner, Jinchuan,Norinickel, or another party all together?
We could also be a T/O target too. BHP is not the only Nickel Miner in the world !!
I have read it as to why BHP has not made an offer for AMC !! It just goes to show the intelligence of some of the posters !!
I may buy some more if the price drops to my liking.

Thanks for everyone sharing alternative lens on AMC's current dire situation.

I was being generous "glass half full" with 4-6 months.

Maybe 2-4 months is a lot more realistic before AMC are suspended as they are effectively BUST right now. No revenue effectively for 10 years and loan interest paid by periodic suicide placings.

If I wanted the AMC resource I would just sit tight and wait for the collapse of AMC in 2019.

Struggling to find anything to look forward to in 2019 if I were an AMC shareholder.

Probably best to cut losses now and sell before losing everything.

BHP are looking to expand their Nickel plays and if AMC was such a great bet, I'm confident BHP would have been sniffing around AMC which currently they're not, I think says it all when it comes to AMC.

qqr - it seems to me is the worse poster as he posts so much useless infomration that has very little to do with AMC.

The infomation he posts is rather like the would be mine is in Cornwall and the authorities are building a railway line between Bristol and Bath.

I agree with your last sentence totally. A distinctly possible but very sad outcome for all those concerned. Had some very nice rides upwards with AMC years ago, somehow never had the balls to hold it as a long term investment though.

I do not discount that there will be another placing attempt to secure/prolong the 'extensive' management's salaries for a little while longer but if they are now reduced to advances of £500k,it's difficult to see who would advance them further meaningful loans knowing that its extremely difficult to recoup the loan money beause there is no sizeable volume to sell the shares,so it's simply too risky for the Death Spiral Financiers now,it will take Riverfort years to get back their outstanding $2 million and amc may not be around for much longer !

Amur has been played like a fiddle,they have discovered the resource with shareholders funds but they cannot now go further without significant funding and the FEDF/Russian goverment or anyome else are offering no financial support whatsoever, they are simply waiting for Amur to run out of money,(which is clearly not far off) and they then take over Kun Manie for nothing and develop the mine with Norlisk & Jinchuan,what's more, both China & Russia will love having pulled one over on the hated west !

The last post accurately reflects the position here. The only thing I would suggest is another placing will be attempted at less than 1p to try and salvage something before the final curtain comes down. Hope for existing shareholders I am wrong though. Enjoy the weekend.

I think Ebomber is being overly presumptuous when he says there will be another share placing in 3-6 months.The fact that they could only procure a paltry £500k tells you that these placings are nearing an end,this is due to an absence of buyers,who,after seeing the shareprice crash 95%, refuse to buy into these horrific DEATH SPIRALS anymore,so they simply do not work on amc anymore as proven with the failed Crede & Riverfort agreements - which saw amur default $1.2 million on their original loan agreement.

I do not pertain to know what the next step will be but investors would be foolish to not consider that the end is nearly here,of course,those loaded up the hilt with worthless amc shares will say that they only needed £500k because a deal is imminent and that's all they need until the big news is announced,but these are the same people who waited over 2 years for the PFS-that was supposedly requested by a fictitious suitor,who has now clearly dissappeared along with all the other take over/joint venture rumours that have abounded here for the last 4 years.

Amur shareholders would be delighted to get another death spiral placing in 3-6months so the small remaining portion of their investment lives on for a little longer, that way they still have a glimmer of pathetic hope that someone will come and rescue their investment from the inevitable final obliteration,because,as even the most deluded Amurite knows, £500k does not last long with a listed company operating around the globe,who boast an extensive management team with all the associated costs.The managements salaries alone will eat up this £500k within 4 months and that £500k was issued over 2months ago.

So this slow 'Death by a Thousand Cuts', appears to be nearly over and Amur investors will certainly think twice before they invest in a mining explorer again after this painful lesson !

So much noise hereAMC is a takeover play first and JV second. The NPV is excellent at a modest Nickel price. The resource boundaries have not been reached.AMC have excellent Russian relations and subsequently hold 100% of the licence (unexpectedly)The area in Russia is high priority zone for development for Russia and China with associated tax breaks and funding. Nickel stocks are rapidly depleting and the electric vehicle market is going to boom.Secondary materials are worth billions. The mine will be purchase by an Asian based company not western.There is potential tie ins with mines in the vacininity to share a smelterAMC won't be coming back to the private investors for more funding, next step is an institutional investor, smelting company or exclusivity agreement with a major. Wouldn't want to be short or out when that hits. 20p minimum when it does in my opinion
