23/5/2019 13:40 | BHP - The surprise comeback victory of the ruling National/Liberal party coalition government in Australia in recent elections down under should mean a benign and stable regulatory environment for miners like BHP, for at least the next three years. Meanwhile, the push to decarbonization by key states like Victoria, Southern Australia and New South Wales bodes well for the company’s new push into nickel. Again I ask, why haven't BHP taken a stake in AMC, if AMC are such a good bet? | loganair
23/5/2019 13:39 | BHP - The surprise comeback victory of the ruling National/Liberal party coalition government in Australia in recent elections down under should mean a benign and stable regulatory environment for miners like BHP, for at least the next three years. Meanwhile, the push to decarbonization by key states like Victoria, Southern Australia and New South Wales bodes well for the company’s new push into nickel. Again I ask, why haven't BHP taken a stake in AMC, if AMC are such a good bet? | loganair
23/5/2019 13:38 | BHP said it wanted access to more copper, nickel and oil to take advantage of increasing demand as the miner set out its long-term strategy. If AMC is such a good bet, why hasn't BHP bought in to them??? He was less enthusiastic about lithium and COBALT because there are large supplies of lithium and substitutes will be used for cobalt. Steel production will "remain marginal and increased recycling and long term slower growth in infrastructure will challenge even these low possible growth rates," BHP CFO, Beavan said. | loganair
23/5/2019 13:17 | Thanks for your insight schachmeister. It is obvious to the independent observer to keep well away from AMC until it can sort out its finances. Loan interest payment looming and struggle to understand how it will be paid? | ebomber
23/5/2019 13:06 | Haven't been convinced you made the wrong call yet Noloss !! | flugelhorn
23/5/2019 13:01 | Absolutely CMB. I pop over to the LSE board and within a couple of posts they all come out the wood work to have a go. They are trying to divide and conquer over there I think. Unfortunately yesterday I made an accusation to someone which was wrong and I apologised. Just got so used to the trouble makers creating new accounts! But it was my mistake and I'll own it. Anyway, I'm pretty sure we will have something positive to discuss from the company soon now. | nolosstillsell
23/5/2019 12:57 | Greatings from Sochi!:) Look what I found! The cableway, new schools, hospitals and gyms, support for culture and small business development, improving transport accessibility and introducing special status for the Far East - Amur. The government of the Amur region has combined them into 700 proposals. The final list was submitted to the court of deputies of the regional Legislative Assembly, who gathered for an extraordinary session. The main directions of development of the Amur Region and the Far East were voiced by Governor Vasily Orlov. The package of documents approved by the deputies will now be sent to the Ministry of Eastern and Eastern Development. On the basis of proposals, a national program for the development of the Far Eastern Federal District until 2025 will be formed."In September 2018, at the Eastern Economic Forum, President Vladimir Putin took the initiative of developing a national program for the development of the Far East," the head of the region recalled. - The national program is aimed at solving three main tasks: reaching the growth rate of the GRP of the Far East up to 6% per year, stopping the outflow of population from the Far East, improving the quality of life of people and the social development of the DFO regions to a level above the average Russian.OPINIONVasil | qui quaerit reperit
23/5/2019 12:28 | Thank you Inaminute, let the derampers have their day.Ours will come too. I just post how I see it.Yes there are many discovery,s made every year, it takes a long time to develop them though.I know that. I have been here for 11 years and I am not going away anytime soon. 23/5/2019 11:39 | How long will it take for Bwana,Noloss & all the other deluded Amurites to understand that the reason they only got a £500k loan extension was because this is all they were allowed ! Have you all forgot that Amur defaulted on the original loan agreement & still have over £1,000,000 outstanding. This is a far more plausible reason as to why they only got a £500k advance ! The 'big news looming' theorists are little more than fantasists exhibiting wishful thinking. | schachmeister
23/5/2019 11:17 | KAV Some nice words in the morning note from the highly respected mining analyst John Meyer at share price Angel ref: LSE:KAV / www.kavangoresources Kavango Resources (KAV LN) 3.6p, Mkt Cap £5.7m – Laws of probability to be rewritten after Kavango strikes mineralisation in first and second drill holes under Karoo sand in Botswana Kavango, which is exploring for a large-scale bushveld igneous-type mineralisation reports results from a second drill hole in Botswana. The team which are highly experienced in the geology of the region have used geophysical data and remote sensing to establish drilling locations. Remarkably, the first drill hole hit mineralisation under the sandy Karoo sediments Even more remarkably the second drill hole is reported to have also hit mineralisation including copper in chalcopyrite with a 1.5% XRF gun reading. X-Ray Frequency gun readings are not considered to be reliable due to their potential for miss-reporting but we do place some value on the readings when in the honorable hands of Messrs. Foster and Moles. The first drill hole hit a 200m zone of intensely altered rock with indicative cobalt values of up to 0.9%, averaging 0.2% cobalt and >70m of elevated copper, zinc, lead and nickel values. Conclusion: Kavango is worth watching and we await results from drill core assays. While we never doubted the skill of the geological team we are surprised and impressed to see two sets of mineralised results in so short a time frame. Well done team! | cpap man
23/5/2019 11:15 | Ps that wasn't a go at you CMB, and they weren't your comments. Just trying to show we shouldn't forget that we have pulled a few big cats out of the bag at times | inaminute
23/5/2019 11:12 | You'll never get the licence, Russia wouldn't allow it. You'll never get the next licence. Well you won't get the next one. The grades won't be high enough. You haven't got sufficient resource. Electric vehicles won't take off, it's all about steel. Look at RY's track record he'll never produce a PFS by end of Q1. | inaminute
23/5/2019 10:00 | AMC PLACING ALERT in next fortnight to again settle loan interest payment. History repeating itself. Certainly makes sense if RNS's (see below) in Dec 2018 and Nov 2018 are any indicator. ____________________ 24/12/2018 12:05 Alliance News Amur Minerals Issues 3.5 Million Shares Following Loan Conversion (ALLISS) LSE:AMC 28/11/2018 12:40 Alliance News Amur Minerals Issues 3.6 Million Shares To Settle Loan Interests (ALLISS) LSE:AMC ____________________ It could be a challenging week ahead for AMC when this news formally breaks. | ebomber
23/5/2019 00:18 | It all depends on how good our BoD are at making a deal.As far as I can see it we have the right commodity/resource, the right time and at the right place ( Not far from China, Japan and Korea). The J/V partner says, you get 25% share now, move over and let us develop the resource.I would be happy with that deal. I would love just a straight T/O at the right price though. In another view the partner may want to wait for AMC to get a cheap loan from the Russian Government for the road build before they show their hand. Then again the Russians will more then likely ask AMC where the money would come from before we give you a loan !! A chicken and egg situation, what came first? Now if we are looking at 50/50% then AMC is going to have to raise funds and go through a BFS. That would take another 2 years and more dilution to the shares. Also try and raise the money after the BFS..To go it alone ?? I don't know about that. Maybe RY would prefer that,he gets very good wage per year $320K not to sniff at. Then the TEO 1 year and the BFS 2 years ! You are looking at 2/3 years period in my view. That was said by RY in the last video interview. If i remember rightly. The only clue I have is, why RY took only $500K in a loan. He must know something for sure !! We the PI,s can only guess,RY knows the truth. Or does he ?? As long as he gets paid his wages. The Media Week !! That is long gone. This has been one hope after another hope vanishing, can the hope come right this time ?? Only time can answer that. These are only my views, perhaps some other poster can add his/her,s. GLA. | callmebwana
22/5/2019 21:57 | Dragons den investors usually need convincing the market wants the product on offer. Doubt that's the case with this one. | inaminute
22/5/2019 18:03 | It reminds me a lot on Dragons Den. That's what I picture when I see AMC looking for investors. e.g. I'll invest xxx million in your company but I'd need 9x% of the equity. | whitehunter
22/5/2019 17:09 | Or a small percentage of course. | nolosstillsell
22/5/2019 17:02 | If anyone was taking a serious position in AMC the share price would not be falling or as low as it is today. Hope you are correct, but after years of waiting I have that in the wishful thinking category. If there is any position taking it will likely be part of the deal where the investor gets a large percentage of the company to get the ball rolling. | whitehunter
22/5/2019 16:34 | CT, I hope you are right.Watching paint dry, is not very exciting at all. I would have loved to have been a fly on the wall, when the third party requested the changes in the PFS. Would be very interesting to know who the third part was/is. I bet you child has grown up a bit by now. No more sleepless nights? :0) ATB. | callmebwana
22/5/2019 16:15 | I don't suspect that it will last very long at all CMB, which is why I feel certain that something much bigger is occurring. Let's not forget that the PFS was held up due to changes requested by external parties. This was required so that a reputable institution, smelter or major miner can take a position in my opinion | crazytowner
22/5/2019 14:24 | I wonder how long that $500K that RY took will last?? | callmebwana |
