Meatals article does give carbon a mention as the sopecial form graphene but lets not forget big progess steps have to happen in battery design as this is main EV weakness.
More metals carbon to the rescue. Carbon is light compared to metals and may allow new battery architecture.

Great Post thanks Giz.AMC are in an incredible position in my opinion as at the moment we are not beholden to anybody and are poised perfectly for the EV revolution.AMC will be not JV into production in my opinion. A straight takeover is most likely and the PFS was the for sale sign being hammered into the ground.Just a sniff of something that shows it can be sold and this will fly. Current share price is completely irrelevant for people like myself, posed for the big exit
