22/6/2007 17:14 | mali7. 5% dividend is no good if the value of your investment has fallen 6%. "concrete news about future boxes soon...DYOR!" have you done any? brando69 "if amt are planning to reinvent themselves and place more emphasis on the property angle". A.S. is investing in commercial property not Amstrad. A week to the year end and no sign of the HD-DVR for Sky. We may get a trading update at the year end although this has not happened in the past. Final results usually come out at the end of September. The only thing that I can see that may reverse the trend in the meantime is product news. | darrin1471
22/6/2007 15:54 | today for example sells outweight buys by about 17 to 1 | brando69
22/6/2007 15:53 | look at the daily share price pattern. each day it slumps to all-day low at end of play. moves down on v small selling volume. faith has been lost in AMT big time and there is no sign of real news to shift sentiment. if amt are planning to reinvent themselves and place more emphasis on the property angle, they will be getting the timing rather wrong, i would think, and that is not likely to help matters. could be a very good buy for the longer term, but why buy in now, when it looks likely to fall another 4-5% at least | brando69
22/6/2007 15:40 | I think this stock will be starting to turn next week, the selling has been over done, and Sir Allan and Co, will manage to turn again and provide some concreate news about furure boxes soon...DYOR! Plus at current level if div maintained, very good yield! | mali7
21/6/2007 23:46 | brando69 - 21 Jun'07 - 17:03 - 168 of 169 it's going all the way down to 118. the key will be what happens then... Thats the $64,000 question. Hopefully it'll bounce back up (cause thats where I'm looking to buy in), but I'm worried it'll just keep going - I can't believe that they're dragging their heels so much wrt new products & updates, etc. | studhaves
21/6/2007 16:03 | ps this has been the pattern every day. a couple of small rises mid session, to lull in a few buyers and then it gets whacked down at the finish | brando69

21/6/2007 09:22 | that's fine weatherman. the question is when will there be good news. i am keeping a close eye, but wise men say, only fools rush in. | brando69
21/6/2007 09:14 | Bears in AMT could be playing a very dangerous game. Look at the chart, with some good news AMT can rise 30p in a day - 2007/8 eps forecast to be nearly 18p - if that is confirmed with news of results, these will recover quickly imo. | weatherman
20/6/2007 20:35 | i'd have loved it if one of the apprentice candidates had had the balls to ask sugar what the hell was happening with his company's share price. | brando69
20/6/2007 20:34 | heading nicely down to 118... that will be the time to buy in, if at all | brando69
20/6/2007 20:15 | I'm a Pace holder. I have a very old digital camera and this is the best photo it will take. :-) & one of the wife also :-) Its rare to get one of her smiling. I had just promised her a new ironing board when Pace hits £1. | darrin1471

Forecast full year PBT is at least £16M. Since they did £10.5M in H2, that's £5.5M for H2. Assuming about £0.6M interest in H2 that's an EBIT of £4.9M, making £14.3M for the year. At worst second half cashflow should be neutral? That puts AMT on a cash adjusted P/E of about 7.9. Next year profits are forecast to increase by around 20%. Yield is currently 5.4% and rising. Cash makes up 26% of market capitalisation. Starting to look pretty interesting. Anything I've missed? | thetworonnies
18/6/2007 06:25 | why is he arsing around on telly so much and not managing this? or maybe he is managing it ito the ground?? | iou1lov
17/6/2007 22:50 | Maybe his son is not as good as daddy ? The graph speaks for itself, but where now. It is new products and up to date products in electronic companies that keep this type of company going forward. There could be a perception that there is lack of new products at present. But one has to ask is the share price at the bottom? | guru11
17/6/2007 22:45 | The price is low due to the non known potential for new products and competition. A confired buy on Britishbulls though. | guru11 |
