Of course EWT, like most chart patterns, isonly detectable after it's been and gone!! Best to stick to fundamentals and I believe the fundamentals here are excellent.

It's not rocket science, gnnmartin! The EW cycle. The 1st leg is UP. The 2nd leg is DOWN. The 3rd leg is UP.

The 3rd leg is UP. That corresponds to the 2nd UP leg!! I'll repeat it for good measure. The 3rd LEG is UP; this equals the 2nd UP LEG.

I dont think you understand elliot wave theory. In a 5 wave advance, the 2nd leg is down.

Not many trades today. Only 6 in total. Today's tick up; is it the start of the 2nd leg up of a an Elliot Wave cycle with a 30p+ short term target sp, or a feeble attmpt, doomed to failure, to break up above 20p again? I believe the former!

Someone did tell me that it was due to an RNS logged but embargoed for release on a specified time/date and the number (frequency) of one share purchases dictated the future date. I thought this was nonsense, but I really haven't a clue.

All I can say for sure is that there will be no more RNS's this year.

Let's hope in 2017 we all have a happy, healthy and financially successful year.

LOL actually "one share" bought/sold is usually to do with someone such as a financial journalist who wishes to attend a meeting plus to gain information such as the report & accounts from the company concerned.

Apparently 1 share = RNS logged and therefore news is imminent.

If it's a sell it's supposed to be bad news and a buy, good news. This one was a sell!

Either way, if true one would have expected a flurry of trading activity after the transaction which was 10am (i.e. 2.5 hours before the market closed).

Whilst there could be news on Tuesday, I'm not convinced the two are linked!

You could be right, buffy. Some posters on these message boards do say that a ONE share trade is a sort of code the MM's use to communicate to other MM's. About what exactly? Imminent news? We shall see.

Yep, volume is miniscule so far this week; to be expected in the week (without news) before Xmas? I think so. Lets see what the New Year brings. Patience is key.
