Afternoon Blunderheed. I am one of the mildest tempered people you could ever wish to meet. I don’t get ratty and certainly not by a wannabe pub landlord with his £2000 bar bills.

Ps - RangeoResources talks more sense then you so best you use this in future

Oilretire"We have adjusted our model for the updated production schedule (first gas now expected in 1H25) and we have moved our valuation forward by a year. This has had an offsetting effect to our valuation, resulting in an unchanged fair value range for the shares of between 2.0-2.5p/share."https://aminex-plc.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/03/Shard-Capital-Aminex-Ruvuma-29-02-2024.pdf

Maybe finally time to start paying attention here. Are there any broker targets out there for the potential share price upon production start up?

Haggis there is no chance it gets built in 6-8 weeks. Funny you are only here when you think things are looking good and start ramping like a muppet.

Let’s see if you are here when the share price drifts down again as it will and always does.

"Uganda has an estimated 500 billion cubic feet of gas. This gas, which is expected to be depleted in just eight years"
.
So half a TCF over 8 years just to keep Uganda going. If we said 25 years supply from Tanzania that would require an extra 1.062 TCF. Then again we know that Uganda actually wants to significantly grow it's gas use to cut deforestation. So Maybe give them 4 TCF over 25 years. They could easily take that from Ntorya and Lindi without needing to involve gas from the deep water targets.

"... substantial undeveloped volumes will still be looking for a market, with the Dodoma-based government currently assessing options to pipe gas north to Kenya, south to Zambia and Malawi and west to Uganda, and perhaps even to Rwanda, Burundi and the Democratic Republic of Congo."
.

.
Rumour is that the Uganda pipeline would run from Mtwara and would increase gas recovery from Mtwara and Lindi, so that would mean our gas going into that pipeline.

While its unlikely the Energy Minister actually sat in on an Ops meeting between ARA and TPDC when the pipeline news was announced - the fact that he was around likely concentrated minds amongst the TPDC management to have good news.

Someone experienced in this said on lse board that they could do it in 6-8 weeks. That would make it doable so long as the government fast track their processes..If not then starting in January it would still be finished well before mid 2025..At least they are showing some urgency now under the new Energy Minister / Deputy Prime Minister. Something we've not really seen from Tanzania politicians until now. He was appointed in September 2023.

"Could they issue the contract to the winning tender in time to complete the pipeline before the November rain starts?"

No
They could potentially start construction, though that's a stretch, but not complete

They seem to have got a route and land ownership sorted. There were earlier hints of holdups there, so it's good news. I viewed that as most significant likely holdup. So sticking to proposed schedule should be likely. Hopefully we'll have gas available from NT1 and CH1 as well as from NT2 by then too :)

Such a dreamer Haggis. They won’t install pipeline with 3 months.

Nothing runs on time in Tanzania. I would have thought after all these years you would know that and to make matters worse AMINEX have no control of the timelines. They are a very tiny part of the project.

"We wish to note the professionalism and commitment of the TPDC and highlight the importance the Tanzanian Government attaches to completing the Pipeline as soon as possible."."As soon as possible"Tender issued in July"There are two rainy seasons-the heaviest rains (called masika ) usually fall from mid-March to May, and a shorter period of rain (called vuli ) occurs from November to mid-January.".Could they issue the contract to the winning tender in time to complete the pipeline before the November rain starts?Just about possible?

The way I read the RNS it says,

"we don't want to tempt fate by promising anything, but the pipeline will get completed sooner than we thought it would"

;)

Just to clarify the timeline of events. The OFES show in Oman started last Monday (29th April) when ARA posted about it. And today ARA told us that the Tanzanians were also at the show and who they met.

So presumably it's all over now and they're posting on the basis of outcomes.

The release today says, "This landmark visit set the stage for the next chapter of ARA Petroleum’s endeavours in Tanzania."

Honestly, for societies where face matters so much, this is about as clear as it gets.
