Surely if they were planning to drill NT-3 in June they would have announced it.Quite simply they aren't going to and have accepted the loss of 15% of KN-1. If the shares do rise today it will only be short term as the result is around what we were expecting after Ritsons comments directly after the drill.

I think the 466bcf is only ascribed to the two gas Wells that have been drilled so far (N1 & N2).

If N2 has trebled is it reasonable to assume N3 target will do the same or at least materially upgrade?

If so is that now targeting 3TCF?

And this upgrade excludes Ntorya 3 which is significantly larger No, this is for the Ntorya appraisal area - which includes the area where N-3 is planned to be drilled. Of course those figures may change again once N-3 is drilled.Peter

It's not simply about how much.There's plenty. It about revenue, what to do with it. Which is being "fast-tracked". Lol...and possible oil, the place is awash with gas.

The resource upgrade is below what the market was expecting.

Recoverable resource increased to 186 bcf... not what the market was hoping for.

"Most likely gross Contingent Resources (2C) increased by 165% from 70 bcf to 186 bcf (Solo estimate)"

There is no news about Nt-3, which make you wonder if the well has been postponed or canceled?

I bet the stock will open up and close down as the news the market has been waiting for is now out and it didnt live up to expectations.

I suspect the answer to that one is :

"Aminex is currently in the process of applying for a 25-year development licence and is working directly with the Tanzanian Government to fast-track gas production for the benefit of the Company's shareholders and the Tanzanian national economy"

this from the Competent Person's Report note Ntorya 1 Discovery attributed 153 BCF Pmean GIIP, that has now grown to 466 Billion Cubic Feet after NT-2. a very good result.



Ruvuma PSA (75% Working Interest, Operated)
· Total Pmean GIIP for discovered and undiscovered resources of 4.17 TCF (gross)
· Ntorya 1 Discovery attributed 153 BCF Pmean GIIP (gross) of which 70 BCF (gross) booked as Contingent Resources (Best Estimate, 2C)
· Four main drillable targets attributed 3 TCF PMean GIIP (gross) (Ntorya Updip, Likonde Updip, Namisange, Sudi)
· Basin remains significantly underexplored according to international standards and it is likely that as further development occurs on the licence area additional leads will be identified and high graded to prospects

Wolansm, I'm thinking some of this is priced in since the N2 initial results, but 8p maybe today or this week, it could of course spike higher but I'm talking closing prices here.

Edgar, I've had him on filter for a couple of months, that was just a reminder in case he was replying to me (a post directly after mine). ;-) Meanwhile, those (me included) who guesstimated Ntorya as holding over 1TCF are happy with the news today :-)Pmean GIIP increase to 466 BCF from 153 BCF·     P90 GIIP increase to 62 BCF from 31 BCF·     P10 GIIP increase to 1.13 TCF from 332 BCFAnd I am also happy (and vindicated again!) to see AEX talk of potential oil at N3, right where I said would be the next place to look for oil :-) "The Company is currently updating its basin model in order to optimise the likelihood of intersecting the maximum stratigraphic reservoir sections and to target potentially liquid hydrocarbons bearing reservoirs in future wells, including Ntorya-3."

Resources in the basin as a whole are going to be interesting if this is just for Ntorya.
