Perversely, selling his shares was part of his strategy to regain control of the company. Unfortunately he blew it by not holding 9.9% at the time of the vote.

Look at the results table at the top of this page, it is clearly a provision for complaints costs.

I agree, and hope, it may not be required in full.

This share price isn't going anywhere until lending re-starts and other positive news around FCA investigation etc then I hope it gets some real growth, rather than the speculative nonsense of the last few months.

Samsung Agreed as well. If really thought about investors then why did he sell 1% of the business every day and why did you not just accept the 20.9p all cash share offer

Brockys, the 100m provison could be down to number of reasons, most banks hold major reserves like these in case major crisis hits, eg unknown headwinds going into q4 or q1 2021 then these provisons help to pay off unexpected costs. Reality is the actual usage maybe much less time

Gross,Regarding JB and GC, something hasn't smelt right for a long time, GC leaving at the point he did was probably cos they knew at the point JB had lost and the plan was over. I am convinced they are in this together and in truth very close and super clever.Jeeze the amoun of time I spend on this stock, I hope the returns are worth it one day.....More fun the Eastenders!

CI they aren't going to play dirty they will play by the book. They will see that Amigo loans were by and large sold fairly and that they did things by the book too, which is all recorded and evidence.

I think there are a few reasons for the low numbers of votes cast, probably a key one is the amount of PI-held shares under the likes of HL. It is a "hassle" for some to work out how to vote in such circumstances.

I have mine held under HL and I sent a message stating how my 1.4m shares votes should be cast. I received no confirmation message that my instruction had been received and carried out so for all I know my votes may not have been cast.

I still maintain JB took an uneccessary risk by not re-investing and giving himself a 9.9% head start in the vote. His smug postings on Twitter that he had the support of the majority of shareholders was based on his ego alone, and he certainly lost much respect from me, albeit I still voted for him as I believe he would have had more rewarding plans for Amigo's future.

so the June the general meeting attracted circa 145 mill votes ( JB could not vote )

the September general meeting attracted circa 158 mill votes ( JB sold all stock )

Who is holding 316 mill votes ?

Brockys, i think also Tweeter is just a small percentage of folks on this stock following JB... If you looked closer the numbers voted, huge chuck didn't bother meaning stock brokers hand vote to bod
