Well it's good to see the £1 next week crew gone. But just because we haven't heard anything doesn't mean that Stifles last target price is unrealistic. I think that would be easily achievable given the right circumstances ie multiple potential bidders

I post this after the consumption of a considerable amount of alcohol including the legendary Nepalese rum, so, in vino Veritas perhaps but, here are my recollections. The board and company are not under the cosh and may choose to continue business as usual. Other bidders may need to do a strategic review before getting involved. Most investors are betting on an so increase of some sort. The whole review process could take three to six months or longer Meanwhile, the drilling program could confound or confirm things for a buyer Q

Andrew welcome to the Amerisur Discussion Board. Reckon you are absolutely spot on. The various forms are shown here

Would have thought Form 8(OPD), then Form 8(DD) may be the relevant forms to disclose opening and subsequent positions M&P hold in Amerisur?

I agree with your analysis above that M&P do not seem to be current buyers of Amerisur shares.

Moneylender - RNS's in relation to M&P:

30/7/19 RNS:
5.69% stake for M&P(via RNS from AXA) relates to disclosure as per 22/07.

23/7/19 & 22/7/19 RNS's:
54.82% stake for M&P(via RNS from FIL) relates to disclosure as per 19/07 and 22/07.

So there are a couple of interesting points from this.

1) M&P paid above the suggested acquisition price (of 17p) for the shares they purchased, in which they paid 18%

2) M&P hold 10.51% of the company at 22/7/19, the last time they disclosed how much they held

3) M&P could hold more than this now, and they could purchase up to 30% in total of the company without needing to make an offer for the company. If they go above 30%, then they would have to make a formal offer

Starting to look like M&P are buying remotely, poss upto
over 10% at the moment!!! AXA and Fil have been buying for
them.

Maybe it's Gov.Colombia collecting its take which is collected at the well head.
Either that, or the new Plat Sidetrack is producing concrete and that has jammed up the system ;-)

OBA 29.07.19 - 1,811 bopd, lowest for the month when we are in the process of promoting the sale of the company!

For the last 5 days - 5,032; 3,465; 2,040; 1,961; 1,811 AMER playing "How low can you go?"

I really hope that someone buys us out very soon just to kick management out as soon as possible!

It might be worth re-posting the value analysis by RBC (I think) of the OBA, or the link to it.

Thanks Q.

For those that dont make the curry evening tonight, it would be good to have a report on all the 'inside' info thats declared, especially now we are officially for sale. I know there are some large holders that sometimes attend and consequently have more info than others!

Share what you can please.

No advice but my tea leaf reading is that the majority expect an increase in share price to occur Given that we're looking at a process that's going to take months rather than days there's clearly opportunities in the offing. Although the oba is a key asset, the emergence of other news from the drilling program might make other bidders stop looking at each other and commit. Q
