30/7/2019 10:46 | Q - presumably you've looked at those disclosures - Any conclusions you would care to share with this discussion board? | xxnjr
30/7/2019 10:15 | Would expect an update at some point this week. Have a little bit of spare cash and awaiting the next update before committing further. With so many interested parties, I would be very surprised if GC couldnt convince a possible buyer of paying more than 17p. Time will tell but think we are still in a very good position. | pauliewonder
30/7/2019 10:09 | It's worth looking at the daily string of rns disclosures which tell you what shareholders are actually doing .....if you want an unbiased straw poll on actual sentiment. Unweighted for volume of course. Q | quidnunc
30/7/2019 09:42 | Look on the bright side, at least the board has returned to some sort of normality as all the idiots have moved on to their next ramp / de-ramp fest............ | ladeside
30/7/2019 08:52 | GC on a tough wicket at present. If no bid substantially above the existing one, he should consider resigning as it would crystal clear he has been unable to convince others of the significantly undervalued Amerisur? Each year we've been told its undervalued, each year told about the significant progress sometimes 'transformational' events, but all shareholders have seen is value from their holdings eroded, often at the same time as others have been rewarded for adding this 'virtual' value to the company. If there no bid significantly above existing, and by significant it should go near to matching HIS comments over a number of years. Otherwise it might be time for him to walk. | tyler durden1
30/7/2019 07:55 | The article in standard came to a value of Amerisur based on analysts estimates --> Paid press/hack twisting the reality - For one Stifel has suspended their target on Amerisur as they are involved in deal - so highest published target of 35p is out from the handful of analysts that cover Amerisur. After suspending coverage - Stifel released the comment/valuation which was published in FT Alphaville which raised the valuation it has for Amerisur to 37p. 2 of the analysts who cover Amerisur - have not changed 15p target through thick & thin - including Occidental Farmout & Indico blockbuster well.... which I found to be very very odd. Anyway it is what it is - I am making money. Management will DISGRACE THEMSELVES IF THEY SELL OUT CHEAPLY. M&P probably getting desperate as they know their bid will likely fail/get trumped. It should - any oiler with interest in Colombia should be happy to fork out 30p given 6500-7000bpd production (with Sol), OBA & up to $55-$60mn in cash & inventory.... HY results 2nd week September - will give us more clarity as to financial position.... | ashkv
29/7/2019 22:58 | It probably is just a reference to Peel Hunt, who have had this at 20p for a long time. As Stifel are acting, it might be worth paying more attention to their figure of 37p per share, which they upped, just as all this kicked off. Apparently Stifel were close with Ophir. It might be worth remembering egos. Does GC want to exit corporate life with the "failure" ball and chain attached to his reputation? The sharp response to M & P would suggest no, but it is early days yet and there could be a lot of hats in the ring: all it takes is one who really wants a chunk of Colombia in highly prospective areas and it does not come better than the extension to LL34. | charlieeee
29/7/2019 21:24 | Blimey, conspiracy theories abound tonight. Meanwhile, back here on planet earth, tempus fugit. | lucyp00p
29/7/2019 21:02 | This has all the hallmarks now of a stitch up but quite where or who outsiders are is anyone's guess. private equity aka anonymous after months and months of price manipulation, where some major holders in Amerisur seem unaccountable and untraceable. Hate to suggest but it has an almighty bad whiff about it all and it can only succeed if the BoD run with it after years of suggestion of £1 plus and options based on how much value they have added....and that will require more questions, more explanation but it simply doesn't smell right. | tyler durden1
29/7/2019 20:18 | Agree. Any price now must build in free cash flow and cash generation between the date of the initial offer and the final transfer of assets. | pauliewonder
29/7/2019 19:33 | Unfortunately not ours/AMERs..... This is worth more to doggy wee hedge fund or private equity co than a serious oil co like OXY or ONGC......know what I mean. | 11_percent
29/7/2019 17:46 | worth repeating ;-) (see previous discussion) 4 OXY blocks $187m Put 8 $19m as per separate OXY deal Cash (say) $50m ==================== Total for above $256m ==================== "Offers" £250m, or roughly $300m. Means rest of company being valued at $44m. | xxnjr
29/7/2019 17:37 | same here juuunx2! | bountyhunter

29/7/2019 16:09 | Bought some more today A little tick up at eod would be a nice bullish candle and a good setup for gain tomorrow We could break 20p this week which is the main resistance A revised or second bidder should put paid to 20 once and for all | techtrader5
