lETS JUST REMEMBER THAT WE ARE LEAVING THE EU ON A MINORITY VOTE. ONLY C65% OF THE ELECTORATE VOTED AND ONLY THEN DID 33% of the whole SAID LEAVE AND 32% SAID STAY. THE OTHER 35% EITHER DID NOT CARE OR DID NOT KNOW. I bet they do now

PERHAPS WE SHOULD ADOPT THE OZZIE SYSTEM WHICH MAKES IT COMPULSORY TO VoTE - i bet we would get a more interesting vote then - maybe the remain vote would be bigger - maybe not - who knows.

Musings of an old fart after a beer or two

You vill vote til u get result ve want.

"When it becomes serious, you have to lie."
"I'm not suffering from withdrawal symptoms. I would say that I have a balanced state of mind''

Or where Juncker stated he met "several leaders of other planets, who are very worried because they ask questions concerning the way in which the EU will follow".

We had one of them already. The side I picked won. Nobody that voted to leave in the first one would bother with the second unless it was binary- leave with deal or leave without.

But whether they are deselected is irrelevant!!!

The damage will have been done ie Tory Govt loses No Confidence Vote and we get GE

Could Boris win a GE majority on a No Deal ticket? I don’t think so.

If you are so confident that he could, why not simply have a Referendum, this time all parties agreeing unequivocally binding

"Some of you just don't get it do you. Whatever the EU election results Deep State will not allow the UK to exit the EU and open the door for the many others who are disenchanted with the EU now"

Agree.

So Civil war beckons, across the European continent.

I concur with lucypoop.
Freedom more important than money.

as to
"The flaw in this argument is that Grieve, Rudd et all will vote for a Corbyn led Govt no confidence vote. Government will fall"

Grieve is being de-selected. Rudd is toast. 300 majority.
A strong Tory Pro Brexit leader will see Brexit Party vote shift to them. Rudd will lose. No loss there.

No one voted to join the EU, and its original form of the Common Market was a good idea...until scumbag officials saw the opportunity for empire building and power power power.

Well that's what bought the share price down yesterday, 2 large filled orders 2.5 million each, that's why the share price dropped yesterday. Now with the selling pressure off we should bounce back to 13p for starters Monday/Tuesday. Well done to all that managed to top up!!

P-26 is rather unlikely to be transformational if it comes in as expected, is it? Nice if it comes in, but not a gamechanger

May 14th: "Platanillo (WI 100%): Infill Drilling and Workover Campaign

The company recently spud the Platanillo-26 infill well targeting a potentially undrained area of the Platanillo field identified on seismic. The well is drilling ahead at 7,800ft with a target depth of 9,350ft."

10 days later and the fact there's no update might spook some?

P-26 should be at TD by now, you'd imagine that if there's anything good to report, they'd be getting that news out ASAP

If Johnson (most likely next PM) had any sense he'd use recent Bercow ruling on voting for same bill and throw it back in the face of the remainers. Withdrawal Bill has been rejected 3 times therefore will need changes to allow him to bring it back to parliament. Run down the clock trying to do so as a deal (FTA) would be best for UK. If EU won't play it's no deal by default. The deal isn't a deal if one party will not/cannot ratify so no point other side saying nothing can change. Also be proactive and take unilateral action on EU citizens in UK ~ supposedly something all sides/parties agree on. No role for ECJ, same rights (other than voting) as UK citizens for those who want to stay, no better no worse and also a repatriation plan for UK citizens in EU if they're not treated fairly by any nation state.

Anyway back to AMER ~ a relief to see a more positive share price movement today even if we haven't clawed back all that was lost yesterday.

Lucy

What is the relevance of that? They are current MPs! They can bring down Govt pre GE rather than allow No Deal. We will get Corbyn/SNP Govt and Remain/Revoke

Rudd had a majority of 300 last time round and Greive won't be reselected. Once the MEP results are in, MP's will vote to keep their jobs based on the mood music. Very few jobs out there for treacherous ex mp's.

20p would be ok with me, also the directors piled in just above 17p so might suit them if there is an offer.

Peel Hunt just put out a note saying as a result of share price drop AMER 'is becoming vulnerable and screening increasingly as an M & A target'

Gran Tierra appear their best guess.

Add - 20p price target.
