I'm in control elsewhere. This investment is just my hedge against wealth.

Heavens - is Bob Catto still around? I remember having lunch with him and the Chaco BoD more than a decade ago - which dates me (& also dates how long this co has been on the launch pad!)

No Lucy, I get it wrong too...but at least I'M IN CONTROL.

I don't watch my 'investment' dribble away through my fingers - I get out.

There's been no good chart reason to buy since mid January, so I haven't, ignoring all the drilling hype.

Meanwhile the downside risk remains greater than upside potential...for now...watch the 8 day EMA.

The selling continues. That recent article which stated that the shares are currently fairly valued has caused more selling. When are we going to see some sustained buying !

We have Plat 7 now down for T sand perforation w/o, Pad 3N infill to come and yet OBA throughput steady at 3.5k
If the P7 and the infill well can both deliver ~1200 bopd - then add CPO5 (2.5k net). At $74+ Brent, that’s a lot of gravy.

May target: 18-20p

A bit more on the sad news about Dana Coffield released by AMER yesterday:

Condolences to his family and friends. At least he passed away doing something he loved. That may be the only positive to the situation.

For sure it's a puzzle but here's another one. Are taxes separate from royalties? If royalties = taxes and are paid in oil but are excluded from export barrels because they come straight out of the ground and in to trucks where do they appear in the accounts???

You do realise there's a gainshare high oil price tax so the Colombian government gets high % of the goodies when oil price goes north. Of course AMER aren't disclosing details to PIs but the 2018 Cost of Sales was broadly double the production costs leaving HOPT and amortisation, POO averaged $71 in 2018 although about similar to today as the co didn't sell oil in Dec18. What did HOPT cost in 2018? est $10-20m

May take a couple of months but expect POO to get into $80-85 range as supply-demand currently stands. Bit too hot for my liking. Global economy just have to get used to it.

Heading back to 18-20p as production is on the rise to >7.5k bopd.

Sol spud plans soon.
