Cantor Fitzgerald reiterates its Buy recommendation for AMER and upgrades its Target Price to 27p from 22p. “The company is accelerating activity on [CPO-5], with six new wells, and we anticipate that (even modest) success will substantially lift both production and reserves.”

Oil industry in Venezuela in complete meltdown. Bopd heading below 500k bopd. You can discount production returning to previous levels for many, many years. If ever. Very sad to see.

Why would any listed business tweet that if there was any chance of a duster? No point guessing the share price but it was 20p not long ago and once through that there is lots of blue sky

I'll come homebrew. I was in Medellin 4 years ago and hoped to do an Amazon trip but it fell through. The Andes above Medellin are beautiful..

Slightly off topic but Los Llanos is well worth a visit as a tourist if you get the chance. I visited the Venezuelan side about 15 years ago and it's full of amazing animal and birdlife such as caiman, river dolphins, anaconda etc.

Perhaps combined with an Amerisur shareholders trip in due course once they've got a few more wells drilled :)
