08/1/2019 10:34 | 'It should be noted that the new discovery of light oil is in the Llanos basin, which has traditionally produced heavy and extra heavy crude oil.' hxxps://navva.org/co - To any O & G bods out there - Why is this significant? | ![]() gersemi
08/1/2019 10:28 | OBA throughput, well I care. It can mean up to $16M revenue per year with virtually nil overheads!!! | moneylender
08/1/2019 10:08 | No such thing as "limits" in oil and gas. Downside can also be unlimited as we saw with BP in the Gulf of Mexico! | ![]() sogoesit
08/1/2019 09:34 | In (very) layman's terms - what is the limit of how high the share price can rise ? | ![]() lbrokes
08/1/2019 09:16 | Of negligible significance (at this point in time) gtf. However, going forward as other acreages around Plat are opened-up will be hugely important. CPO5 is already now producing 2,500bopd net to AMER with 6 drills - all with high CoS - to add to that in the next 2-6 months. By mid 2H we could easily be producing somewhere close to 10,000bopd net to AMER from CPO5 combined with [IMHO] an eye-watering reserves upgrade. Worth pondering a moment and then checking today's MCap. Something of a disconnect. | knackers

08/1/2019 08:45 | hxxp://www.controlhi Still only 2000-2400 going down the OBA every day.... Would of expected a tariff deal by now if we can't fill the pipe with our oil from plat, why the drop of from production? | gtfcniles

07/1/2019 18:53 | Westmoreland, I see that Goldman Sachs fly in the face of analysts and cut their price target for Brent to $62 for the year. They think that shale production will increase significantly in the US putting pressure on the price. The Dallas Fed Energy survey notes an expected decline which is inline with other analysts thoughts. Call me a cynic, but it wouldn't surprise me if GS have their own reasons to contradict them..hmmm I remember holding shares in a Pt. producer when they released a similar report on Pt. prices. Months later they were investing heavily in the same companies that suffered from their bearish outlook. Seems like we had a little consolidation here today, can only be good going forward as we test 22p range. Lots of news in the last couple of weeks with a 180 degree change of sentiment. Still 'off the radar' to many investors, only a matter of time before that will change to. | ![]() leas1
07/1/2019 17:16 | but on a brighter note ----------> London — Oil prices rose by 2% on Monday, extending a rally from December’s 18-month lows with support from Opec production cuts and steadying share markets. Oil has gained nearly 12 percent since last Monday, its biggest week-on-week rally in two years. | ![]() westmoreland lad
07/1/2019 16:31 | Lbrokes, but down 30%.. looks as though they will have to 'frack' in order to get anything that's going to wake the market up. That said, I'm sure they can develop their discoveries over time. Not sure what the market was expecting over there, as always, defies logic sometimes. | ![]() leas1

07/1/2019 14:51 | There was no slush in Salisbury the day the "tourists" were visiting, but that's not what they told RT | ![]() lucyp00p
07/1/2019 14:04 | Lucy - we cope with slush very well. We have a month of it each April to practice when 5 months accumulated snow starts melting - unlike southern England suffering for a morning. What stumped the 'tourists' was what regularly brings UK to a complete standstill - the wrong type of slush! | ![]() tonyrelaxes
07/1/2019 14:03 | thanks for the link money-lender - Malcy's correct. 'The market hasn't got any idea about how to value' AMER. 'exciting times ahead' Wardle over in the UK in Feb - roadshows, institutional meetings etc...exciting stuff | ![]() gersemi
07/1/2019 13:58 | Not sure they can give an update this close to buying shares. | ![]() broncowarrior
