For what it's worth, I suspect that if a shred of the unlikely truth in your hair brained, oft repeated and somewhat ridiculous scenario should ever be proven, then the reputation of the board of Amerisur will be destroyed along with the bank balance, as conspiracy to defraud shareholders is pretty much the accusation and I'm damn sure your favourite pantomime villain - Rex would have no hesitation in bringing the company to it's knees.

The rot imo is still a seller. Nothing more. Throughout the period of R's selling it gives the impression that Amerisur have done little to give real good news or even attempt to give good news, and it appears sometimes they have done the opposite, choosing to take wells offline for maintenance with the emphasis on choosing and a reluctance to give details of a seller's holding. Amerisur would know taking wells offline would reduce production.

Throughout that time the share price was falling, even with the hint of good news from ONGC etc., it did not affect the share price and with what seems like an impasse between a large investor and Amerisur, Amerisur seem to have taken the view that they would do nothing to get that investor a higher price, just to see good news evaporate.

Have they even positively mentioned ONGC's comments about revisiting Mariposa-1, where only 10 per cent of the nett pay zone was tested?

Gives a distinct impression they are happy with delays etc., for reasons yet unknown. This does though bare a striking resemblance to the tactics employed when Amerisur were after Plat, lock stock and barrel, even down to mentioning water, which JW always professed he could sort out at will, and did for some time. Its the same geology, the same Plat, so seeing references to water seems reminiscent of earlier times

Oil pipeline between Ecuador and Colombia affects the territory of indigenous people


An oil pipeline that crosses the Putumayo River from Colombia to Ecuador was the solution found by the Amerisur Resources company for the long trips of crude oil transfer from this border zone in the Amazon to the cities of Mocoa in the department of Putumayo and Neiva in Huila . This alliance with the Ecuadorian oil company PetroAmazonas allowed transportation costs to be saved and avoided the payment of the famous "vaccine" - a parastatal tax charged by Colombian armed groups to maintain a relatively peaceful coexistence in the areas where they operate.

The pipeline runs through part of the territory of the Siona indigenous community of San José de Wisuyá, in the province of Sucumbíos, in the north of Ecuador, and although forest clearing had been taking place since mid-2015, only until November of that year did the Wisuyá realized that Amerisur workers were destroying jungle in their territory.

Cant agree with any of your logic. Nevertheless good luck with your investment. Looks like we will all need it whatever your holding here. As I have said previously a better Management team here is what we need and hopefully sooner than later

Dont see your reasoning at all. You would think production had dropped last month. It went up, and at the level of production which in my opinion will increase as and when Amerisur want it to.

But take the production increase last month, then take the oil price now....Then perhaps explain why its a speculative play on the new drills?

Well the chart clearly tells the current situation.
Lower highs followed by lower lows. It began after the highs in 2014 and accelerated quite steeply before tailing off to a more gentle grind southwards. All eyes on that April low of close to 13p. If it doesn't break below that level and rallies above 20.5p the pattern may finally be broken. The thing is though,the market tends to break these key levels before potentially reversing as quite a few stops will be set just below. Horrible 4yrs for the long suffering.

Jam looking to be far in the future every drop in share price takes longer to get back long way off the 20p/30p most here are hoping for just got to keep fingers crossed and hope.

SUPPLY AND INSTALLATION OF WELL HEAD & SERVICES FOR TWO EXPLORATORY WELLS IN CPO-5 BLOCK

Scope of work under this tender involves supply of TWO complete sets of a standard Wellhead
with corresponding fittings. The bidder must agree also to provide the material and technical
installation services in the field for drilling and completion activity on each well as required,
including casing cold cutting.
Tender scope could be extended to supply Wellhead & services for a third contingent well in
CPO-5 Block.

1. WELL INFORMATION

1.1 Introduction
Two exploratory wells Sol-1 and Aguila-1, will be drilled by ONGC-VL in CPO-5 Block,
Llanos Basin, on land Colombia, with primary objective in Lower Sands formations and
secondary objectives in Guadalupe and Mirador.
A third contingent well, may also be drilled with similar characteristics in CPO-5 block. 1.2 Timing of Operations
Time of commencement of drilling operations in Block CPO-5 is tentatively during July
2018. The total duration of the drilling campaign is anticipated to be 35 days on a dry
hole basis. Well testing will add another 40 days depending on well evaluation result.


Edit: there is also a tender out for day/night drilling supervisors and that only closes on 23rd July, so an August start is far more likely.

Make that $75 million for the 1st 6 months revenue alone, 1.07 million barrels production at $70 a barrel at least. Minimum revenue for this year $150 million minimum which is over 50% more money than last years total of $92 million
