No, only premium members can moderate threads, but I'm happy to report people for breach of forum rules where necessary. ADVFN don't respond to the complainant, but previous experience suggests that they do take action.

In any case I think you have to be very careful with "moderation", too easy to filter out views that don't match your own. A view on the company vs a foul mouthed personal attack is quite an easy distinction to make.

Dodge City has been here a while and though I may not agree with him or find much value in what he says, it's the first time I've noticed him posting something as crass as his last post, only fair that he gets the chance to remove it.

Please delete post 5608, we've managed to get to over 5000 posts with only a couple of issues and I think we'd all like to keep it that way.

It's in breach of at least two of advfns rules for forum posts in that it is a personal attack and uses excessive vulgar language.

They could issue more updates on RH holdings. They could but they don't.

In my opinion this is their strategy and then you need to ask why and the obvious reason would be not to use up good news that would do nothing in the face of a persistent seller.

Would be good to get update on RH's holding and even better to get one from RH which would indicate the end of disposal transaction.

But if we honestly ask whether good news has resulted in the share price increasing to a realistic level, the answer has to be no, so perhaps there is method in Amerisur's approach.

They couldn't very well stifle the CPO-5 results as that is ONGC's prerogative to report to the market, and Amerisur couldn't very easily stifle LTT if ONGC were reporting

I trust the BoD won't decide that closing 2017 at 7k+ bopd would be sufficient grounds for a little award to themselves, particularly as that production figure was previously targeted for exiting 2016. Moreover,that was without Platinillo's total output being propped up by Mariposa-1 as now.

Production up.

Share price going nowhere.

I don't buy into the argument that it's due to the forced seller, and what happens when the oil price starts going down again.

Tower Resources - mkt cap 3m

Amerisur - mkt cap 230m.

Therefore small positive news from Tower will increase the share price exponentially.

Whereas this rubbish has to run hard just to stand still.

Fangorn - please explain why this company is valued at 230m when it can't even make a profit.
