22/3/2017 11:42 | ISA allowance? Tax bill to settle? A new flat? Whatever... | alamaison5
22/3/2017 11:31 | FoiledAgain - So why is he selling? | adam
22/3/2017 11:29 | FSA. I think you are too late with that scare story. If Rex wanted to oust Giles, he would not have sold. A decent guy and so is his son Daniel who resides in London and a guy I've spoken with in the past when my company was involved in a project he had a holding in. | foiledagain
22/3/2017 11:28 | My apologies. I was only concentrating on my time frame. Starting when I started to buy. And that was after these 7,000,000 shares disposed off. Hopefully as the RNS has now been issue the seller is done with it? | alamaison5
22/3/2017 11:24 | More confident now, as would the BoD want to bring out decent news knowing there was dumping of millions of shares by Rex? Would be a waste of time and swallowed up in any controlled selling. Surprised they didn't agree to taking the shares off him and preventing a false market. | foiledagain
22/3/2017 11:23 | go rexy boyo - sell this dog into the agm gilesy packin his bags alreadies 20m shares sold and nuther 83million to be dumped this stock goin no wheres but down on that seller i told ya this wud be sub 20p not long nows 18p comin | fsawatcher
22/3/2017 11:11 | 103,817,037 last I could see down to 83,023,243 but not sure if there were disposals from that | foiledagain
22/3/2017 11:08 | So Rex is the seller...not a huge surprise. | bibdaddy
22/3/2017 09:21 | L2, very healthy: BID: 103301 @ 20.5 ASK: 91550 @ 21 | alamaison5
22/3/2017 09:18 | And buying more may be? 2017-03-22 09:14:01 20.96 100,000 Buy 20,955 O | alamaison5
22/3/2017 09:16 | River and Mercantile Asset Management LLP had bought .1% recently... | alamaison5
22/3/2017 08:08 | Yes and the 2,000,000 shares recently bought were conjured up out of thin air? Volumes are unreliable as they are only notified volumes and a seller can notify after a sale instruction is concluded, but many don't notify at all, especially offshore or overseas holders or those who may have a connection which is why some choose anonymous offshore status in the first place. | foiledagain
22/3/2017 00:20 | Some PI's may want to realise capital gains/losses as 5 April approaches, & that gives the II's the opportunity to tell MM'S "we want to increase our holding, but only if price is below XXp. I agree that the board could improve communications with ALL the company's investors, but providing significant losses are not incurred it's surely better to keep more oil in the ground, than sell it when the price is in the $25 - $50 per barrel range? | ianguerin
21/3/2017 18:57 | Emailed the company asking date the final results for 2016 being released which can be given without breaking any AIM rules and guess what I got back? Sweet F--k All. | francis55
21/3/2017 18:07 | Michinoko madness anybody? I'm thinking the only reason sales are going through at these prices is that the seller has no choice. The board has never disclosed who is the beneficial owner but I'm sure we would recognise him in the long room at Lords. If so the swoon in the share price is understandable and temporary and an excellent chance to bargain hunt......bwtfdik? | lucyp00p
21/3/2017 16:44 | Yes, time for official comment from the BoD. They would be aware of any seller and their identity, and time for some transparency | foiledagain
21/3/2017 16:04 | we (PI's) are being bled dry on this, imo | currypasty
21/3/2017 14:37 | Have to agree with Trotts, even though it pains me!!! lol II's buy in after they have driven the price down | moneylender
21/3/2017 09:44 | Francis,, it's a well trodden road , they know what's out there in t trades and spread bets | trotting12
21/3/2017 09:25 | Not necessarily, Francis. There does seem to have been a somewhat concerted effort to get volatility in either direction and that I would attribute to those who benefit from volume as well as price change. The "small guy" trader does, by definition, take himself out in the expectation of rebuying lower. The "big boys" have simply taken the opportunity offered by the PI trading cycle and mopped up the surplus shares: "a fine job" for LTHs (including River and Mercantile itself, of course), since it does "dry up the supply". So, are River and Mercantile persuaded by the "imminent" upside story or is it the "for sale" sign which attracts them? It has to be remembered, of course, that IIs always have to consider their exit strategy, as dumping into the market in size is generally self defeating re profit taking. | charlieeee |
