Lots of whinging going on and there's some justification but little balance on here.Meanwhile out in the big wide world, large household name businesses are going down like flies.Isn't there anyone here that is glad to be invested in a profitable well-run business with money in the bank and good prospects?Q

They might now have commenced re-entry of P22 to create a sidetrack as per the AGM update, which would require a suspension of production there.

"...discussions continuing to increase toward the previously stated 2,000 bopd through H2/19"

what they say and what some hear seem at times to be different.

Technically they could be right, but it looks like 1 or 2 trucks popped in and dropped off some oil and had a selfie. It's typical of the stunts pulled at the AGM and why, for once, I kept my money in my pocket when I left. I have no doubt the ink is dry on the agreement and oil will soon start to flow, but I guess other operators have transport contracts in place which need to run down before cutting them off.

With over $41m cash end 2017, and over $44m end 2018, I can't see anything wrong with a share buyback program.

Margins are improving, transporting 3rd party oil is pure profit, so unless there's a significant value add acquisition on the horizon, I can't see why the BOD think it is good business to hang on to such large cash balances when it should be put to work to deliver shareholder value.

At today exchange rate the cash is over £37.75M or 22.6% of the market cap.

Not that I want to side with Lucyp00p, but at least, one should question the BOD declarations pre-AGM when they say that they have now started receiving third party oil on 10th May and since then, the OBA input has actually went down from above 4k to 3.8k! Is our production going down then? By how much? And how much third party oil is actually being received each day?

Such questions are legitimate imo! Sorry, but I do not want to offend anyone. What I want is the BOD to gain the trust that I put in them with my money.

Why should the board be concerned - they have the cash reserves to withstand all the shenanigans, never mind the deals in place with people in the business rather more major than Harbour.

Idiot. To express concern about this company is perfectly legitimate. Your comment and others like them are crass and stupid. What should he write? How about " I think Amerisur represents the pinnacle of corporate governance, transparency and shareholder return" would perhaps suit you Eddie, but you're a fool and might even believe it.

Although Im a holder here the current share price is very depressing. We need some good drills to get this going. Every day the share trading follows the same pattern. I blame the current Management who rarely provide any updates and who dont seem to care about the current depressed share price. I dread to think if the current drills are dusters which is possible where the share price is heading.

The way to increase share price is to prove up reserves and produce more (NPV). Platanillo is not enough. That realisation hit the share price 2 years ago imo, along with falling poo. Deliver on the drilling!

Company at this moment in time is overvalued , BOPD has been static for to long and until that changes share price will drift , nobody would pay around this share price for a takeout , £100 million max .

Witness the share price. Agreed caution is good but if we can't lift the share price using any means available, we are a big juicy cheap target that can't defend itself.

Might be just over $9m (1.7+7.5). probably a sum required to be put aside in case we blow a gasket and flood the local river with oil.

I'm with charlieee, caution is good. poo could fall, having financial strength allows you to benefit when others are in distress - witness the deals of the last few year or two. And for goodness sake, we are starting to drill again. When have we ever had 2 simultaneous wells?
