02/3/2018 14:25 | Well, the monthly figure for February was good news and so is the confirmation that the pumping station upgrade is still on track for October: not least, because it suggests that they will need the extra capacity. They do need to update us on drilling campaign: all 3 blocks and some update on what has been achieved in Ecuador would also be welcome. I would suggest that we will now start to see the usual build of information through to the AGM. | charlieeee
02/3/2018 13:43 | Quite correct the board know as we do that ultimately the value here will depend on the number of barrels per day and the all in cost to produce - both have very significantly gone in the right direction this year kaos3 2 Mar '18 - 11:19 - 7380 of 7386 0 0 it is beyond belief that board is playing small boys "whos is bigger" ego mind games by decreasing value of a someones else 200 mil corporation how bizzare is that if true? and accepting such a fact as a "cest la vie" is even more bizzare situation if you think about it if it is a fact - BOD members should pack or change - by free Will or by force | return_of_the_apeman
02/3/2018 12:30 | and another one - MM are keeping the published share price down despite higher actual share price very good | kaos3
02/3/2018 12:16 | if one pays above the offer it is a buyer - is it not heh heh | kaos3
02/3/2018 12:10 | you have a seller not a buyer you learn in time 15p next 14p after that slip slidinaway oasis song innit | fsawatcher
02/3/2018 12:05 | We have a 200,000 buyer! 2 in a few mins of each other :)) | laptop15
02/3/2018 12:03 | Dav You need to re read that information. It is not 'ergo OBA'. It mentions throughout of the OBA, but then mention average production with no connection with the OBA so average production is total average production irrespective of what went through OBA. Glad you have deleted it! | harrisun
02/3/2018 11:19 | it is beyond belief that board is playing small boys "whos is bigger" ego mind games by decreasing value of a someones else 200 mil corporation how bizzare is that if true? and accepting such a fact as a "cest la vie" is even more bizzare situation if you think about it if it is a fact - BOD members should pack or change - by free Will or by force | kaos3
02/3/2018 11:11 | I would have thought that just being a couple of hundred barrels below 7000bopd is pretty good news, especially as that figure dispels any doubts we may have had about any further social unrest having an adverse effect on output. And the 300bopd temporarily lost due to a workover on one well would have seen production during the period to over 7,000k. If nothing else these RNSs spell out consistency and stability with current assets and a lot more to look forward to. The savings on operational expenditure by using the OBA pipeline are very encouraging. How many other small to medium-sized O&G companies would like a wholly-owned asset like that with its outstanding cost-cutting benefits? The market will have to come to its senses soon and the share price will almost certainly react very positively. If there are games being played here and AMER board are stalling on drilling progress to thwart their antagonist then we can only hope that in the meantime ONGC supply us with 30% of yet another blockbuster well. Sod all that GC can do about dampening that news down. | chopper harris1
02/3/2018 11:11 | 7000 was the company target not OBA target | dodge meister
02/3/2018 10:56 | OBA 2017 exit target was 7000 bopd. They contrived to hit 7045 on the best day of December. During January 6531 bopd was the best day via the OBA and February was 5939 bopd. Where’s the good news? | davwal
02/3/2018 10:12 | Just typical that we get a RNS the day after Trump upsets the markets with a threat of trade wars! | djj2014
02/3/2018 10:05 | Too busy shovelling snow here but still holding/accumulating | moneylender
02/3/2018 09:55 | a101uk, Still around and pleased at the news of course. JW seems positive & so he should be, its been achieved in difficult circumstances. No mention of further costs associated with infrastructure improvements to the OBA but, a profit is a profit for all that. I think this will have a positive effect on the share price in the long term but currently, someone else is playing the aces whenever a green shoot appears and dampens down share price growth. Regards to all Q. | quidnunc
02/3/2018 09:54 | Nice big buys starting to come through :)) | laptop15
02/3/2018 09:43 | Squib, he can be bought out as he is selling his shares in the open market, just buy them in the open market - simples. The company should just announce a share buyback ;-) or someone else who can see the obvious value here will snap them up shortly. That however may be the problem, the company us not announcing a share buy back as they expect the shares to easilly change hands at these prices; large buyers have been holding off until they think RH is near the end of selling This gives us pi's a chance to build a decent stake at this level :-) | return_of_the_apeman
02/3/2018 09:27 | Just looking through the list of names commenting following the RNS... wow, times have changed. | al101uk
02/3/2018 09:27 | Nice to see the buys rolling in guys :) LAST CHANCE TO BUY SUB 17P | laptop15
02/3/2018 09:26 | Does the figure for the cost of the OBA include the share options?Off topic, today I know why supplies of cheap vodka in my city have dried up. The distillery under the convenience store exploded at the weekend. | lucyp00p
02/3/2018 09:20 | and the big Q - why poker. RH answer is not convincing enough imho I think share price Will explode soon. AMER Spring is collecting all kinds of energy. Low SP, high vol at the bottom, RH running empty, huge drilling potential, high cash flow, potential TO or partial sale, OBA capacity uplift, and the most important PE 2-3. Also MM working in accordance from time to time which is unusual let the dogs out | kaos3
02/3/2018 08:50 | Shrewd investment the OBA pipeline, great management decision. Already paid for and the possibility to raise throughput further with the work being carried out in Ecuador. Just need more production to fill it up a bit. Definitely playing a poker face though, the bare minimum of news they could get away with. | philwalker36
02/3/2018 08:29 | surprised BoD have not found a way for Rex to be bought out so they can then seriously put themselves in the shop window and sell out without Rex being a major beneficiary. | squibno1
02/3/2018 08:29 | Bought a few. These look undervalued | volsung
02/3/2018 08:28 | Kerri28 Its hard to know what the current Managements long term strategy is. Hopefully to add shareholder value. At present thats not happening. Whilst some investors here want to see a takeover here at at least £1 Im far more realistic I will be happy with 30p !. In my opinion until we see a takeover here I think it will be a long time before we see real value here and a more realistic share price | underhill2 |
