30/3/2017 09:57 | Well...between Oct 2016 and March 2017 R Harbour has decreased holding from 103Mill to 83Mill. Therefore 20Mill sold in 7 months or roughly 300 trading days. So approx. 66,666 shares being sold a day. At an approx. 25p per share, that's £16,666 a day. Hardly earth shattering sums of money. At 83Mill shares, that's a holding equating to £16Mill. Peanuts frankly. If that's what you believe Rex has over the Board, methinks you are clucking at the wrong chicken. I think you will find the funds and institutions, moving in and out behind the scenes, are depressing the price. That and the fact nobody likes to catch a falling knife. | jonnycash1
30/3/2017 09:31 | Since about June 2016! Seems to have started after Paraguay. | foiledagain
30/3/2017 09:00 | How long has this 'big seller' been selling for? How many consecutive days? | jonnycash1
30/3/2017 08:46 | Here we go again. A couple of chunky sells to keep the share price deflated. | blackdown2
30/3/2017 08:33 | What will be telling is information of any RH buying? If he has not disclosed selling and Amerisur were forced to find out via its Registrars, is the same happening with a purchase elsewhere and that could provide an indication of whether its strategic investment decision, or angst. If he were jumping from one GC company to another GC company it would firmly smash the angst 'angle'. | foiledagain

29/3/2017 17:14 | No doubt the directors will soon be buying at these prices especially if they think there's a likelihood of a takeover. | big7ime

29/3/2017 16:34 | Should have an update soon on the latest drilling let's hope its good news I want something to cheer me up!. | bryet
29/3/2017 16:34 | The last set were but I think historic ones have been awarded but would only vest subject to share price targets being reached on the exercise date. Pretty sure Rex knows this. I knew it but would have to look it up again. | lucyp00p
29/3/2017 14:26 | Weren't the latest options at no cost to the BoD anyway, so whatever price they drop to means little to the BoD, as nothing to stop them in the future issuing more of them at no cost. | foiledagain
29/3/2017 12:17 | Rex is/was annoyed and fedup with all the freebee options being dished out by the Co. He started selling as a warning to the bod, GC did react, but the others stood fast. Now the selling has accelerated and a lot of those freebees are worthless and will remain so until the bod pull their finger out or the seller stops unloading. Foiled again is correct RH did not announce the drop it was the Co looking into the seller, we are in the middle of a battlefield. As to the company being in play, we have been since GC took over, its just no one has made a big enough offer yet!! | moneylender
29/3/2017 11:29 | marnewton - mine too! | bigwavedave
29/3/2017 11:25 | Could it be old fashioned stop losses triggering at specific prices dependant on what price purchased from our main holders and is it not 24% that is the magical number to automatically trigger the right to take over a company in which case our biggest holder needs to buy another 14% of the business which at todays prices would be an ideal time. So i say it again, its oversold and can gain no momentum as peopke are taking small losses rather than wait for new news to encourage new investers which is supressing the price. | francis55
29/3/2017 10:32 | Funny peculiar, not funny haha, as my old gran used to say, bwd;¬) M | marnewton

29/3/2017 10:18 | Call me old-fashioned but I would rather sell fewer at 30p than more at 20p. Funny old world, innit? | bigwavedave
29/3/2017 10:12 | Rexit. 😂 | dayway123
29/3/2017 10:08 | The disposals started to take place after Paraguay, within ten days of Paraguay announcement we had holding announcement from Seager Rex Harbour. The recent announcement via Amerisur was via Capita, Amerisur's Registrar, which is unusual as it was not a holding announcement from the owner, and it is normally those disposing or acquiring that have the obligation to make that known to the market in a holdings announcement. Under that situation it looks as though Amerisur might have had to find the seller, rather than the seller announcing it. If you look at previous Rex Harbour or Rex Harbour associated holdings notices, it has always been notified by the holder, not by Amerisur via their registrars Capita. | foiledagain
29/3/2017 10:03 | Lucy - "Rexit". Love it! | bigwavedave
29/3/2017 09:51 | I think you will find that it is fact rather than fiction. | blackdown2
29/3/2017 09:39 | A very good exposition jonny. And, indeed, we've had the rumour, but no rocket! That suggests to me said rumour is baseless. M | marnewton
29/3/2017 09:39 | The large holder is not a potential buyer. I suspect he/they are frustrated by the v slow progress and want to see the company sold to a larger outfit. By dribbling out shares on a consistent basis, I suspect they are trying to stimulate anger amongst other large holders, so that there can be collective pressure on the BOD to put the company in play. The company can't be held responsible for the oil price - which was quite a bit higher when they raised money at 35p/share - but surely things have improved since they raised money at 25p/share not that long ago. Presumably those investors who backed this fundraising must be feeling a bit disenchanted with what is going on. | blackdown2 |
