Is this 'the' World Bank? Or a private co using the same name? If the former this is surely a big deal...

When you are in an argument with those that believe all the dross from the
Anti Gold Cartel....

Just remind them of ...................

1 US dollar could buy 0.89 grams of gold in 1953, it only buys 0.03 grams of gold today. The US dollar has lost 97 % of its value compared to gold since 1953

Then when they tell you things are now different, walk away with the thoughts
of Mark Twain...

"Never argue with stupid people,as they will drag you down to their level,
and then beat you with experience"

No ~ the dollar is already weakening (poor jobs data etc) plus China starts their new world bank for Asia (USA right miffed) = firmer oil prices and a rise in gold during this year IMHO

They wouldn't have let anyone view the data room without a confidentiality agreement in place and in the case of publicly traded companies standstill clauses are often requested

Don't recall that, only that they opened a data room for prospective bidders/JVs.

I was under the impression that management mentioned some standstill agreements being in place last year. If true then they would have held back bidders and one year on are probably going to terminate shortly

If IC is what mgt say it is then RG must be the ones to acquire it? And yet, so far they have refrained.

Heavy volume today. Probably time for the move back up. Good that all the financing pre construction is sorted.

These Miners are a waste of space. They should all be shut down and delisted like LOND and AMI. It seems to me the World no longer needs these resources any more.

With Petropavlovsk at 6p it has set a benchmark for all other Miners to trend below 10p. AMA has some catching up to do.. a dodgy AIMer like this can't be worth more than say AQP surely?

No wonder the Fed target unemployment rate keeps getting lowered then (long run 5.0-5.2% down from 5.2%-5.5% in Dec)

I did see the WGC's 2014 figures though which showed mine production increased by 2% in 2014 but overall demand fell by 4%.

Is it weird that gold recovered post Fed guidance and AMA sells off?
