14/12/2014 00:12 | Looking forward to the resource update shortly and the PFS in Q1. | hutch_pod
13/12/2014 23:46 | running out of cash I see and no chart support. tgt 10p | dan_the_epic
09/12/2014 23:04 | glitter2 It will obviously be very volatile, and moreso than 1999-onwards as there is far more at stake than then, plus so much Gold has truly gone to the East. I almost cringe at the thought of Gold truly exploding before the West is prepared for it, so I would be eccstatic to see a steady $1300-$1400 range that the West could live with until Gold simply cannot be held under $1900. Of course if they lose control of paper Gold where a mere 200 tonnes of Physical could in absurdity be leveraged to 40,000 tonnes of fake Gold- then anything could happen. One day the US may be asked to prove whether that 8000 tonnes exists, yet meanwhile China wants/needs comfortably more than 8000 tonnes for its agendas If they are in a hurry,as they appear to be, then quite a street brawl to come in 2015 if Russia,India,China are taking all the Gold that comes to Market from producers-again- !! | richgit
09/12/2014 16:21 | "Feet back on the ground....$1400 would precipitate AMA to 56p" It must have heard you..... | glitter2
09/12/2014 15:55 | Is why I am invested, also, considerably more relaxing than gazing @ the Dow right now. | rhuvaal2
08/12/2014 13:09 | Nice to see gold maintain just shy of $1200 despite continuing downward pressure on oil. | hutch_pod
04/12/2014 11:10 | Ahh I see. Well hopefully he is too busy actually delivering to work on his delivery :) | hutch_pod
04/12/2014 10:15 | Sadly Hutch, that's as good as it gets with the Chair; having said that, I'd rather him than some slick salesman as chairman/CEO. | amargosa
03/12/2014 17:14 | Have you seen him present/talk before? Great idea by AMA to do the investor day and film it. Happy to see 30p seems the consensus. | hutch_pod
03/12/2014 13:37 | As you say Hutch he must have been having an uncomfortable day, for whatever reason... assuming our ceo is very bright and capable, I was interested to see him buying down to 14.125 when I was lucky and able to match him for a final top-up. Your figure of 30p has been equaled by a clutch of broker forecasts which if I remember correctly were in the 28 to 40p range (most @ 30p). | rhuvaal2
03/12/2014 12:35 | Thanks bones30. Well the facts seem strong, although I'm bit unsure about his delivery. I was aghast at the 50% JV but then any equity raise even say 1/3 at these low prices will hurt probably more. Allenby's calculation of project equity value was 62p at $1300 gold although a hefty 14.5% discount rate. So perhaps very simplistically 50% JV could give 30p ish? | hutch_pod
26/11/2014 15:34 | Malaysian evening paper spilt the beans, just once, and were told to SHUT UP...... | rhuvaal2
25/11/2014 15:41 | Anything to do with that Ukraine 'accident'. A bit of you scratch my back and I'll scratch yours ? If so, absolutely disgusting. | corrientes
25/11/2014 15:33 | 14p is like Custer's Last Stand. | amargosa
22/11/2014 13:02 | Hutch Pod. I merely pray Amara can avoid any opportunistic bid,by either finding the right JV partner, or any possibility the Market will see the future and support them to take it all the way to production by themselves. If the truth overcomes the lies and manipulations, and the fact that the Majors have not only virtually stopped exploration, but are mining and depleting their highest grades, then when this all explodes their investors will be asking/screaming .... "where are our future resources ?" Consolidations have been taking place yet there are limits, and when the inevitable takes place the only targets are the Juniors and those getting very close to proving they have substantial and economic resources. The later the Majors have to leave it due to current sentiment and financial constraints to bid for those Juniors- then they could all be outbidding when the time comes - so $100 in the ground could be peanuts. I am sure you have all read about the latest panic- and yet We should digest the last paragraph,as it is damning and suggests the West is going to start considering what the East knows and less than 1% of the West is allowed to know!!! We all know the Dow etc soaring whilst the ex middle class in the US eat vitamin enriched cardboard... is a nonsense beyond belief-yet We know why-or let`s say 1% know why and all hell lets loose when 3% know why !!!!. I cannot put a date stamp on it,and wish I could. November 21, 2014 The Dutch central bank has secretly brought a large part of the national gold reserves being held in a secure depot in New York back to Amsterdam. In total, 120 tonnes of gold valued at €4bn has been brought back to the Netherlands by ship, Nos television said. The high security reparations for the move took months. The central bank decided to bring some of its gold reserves back to the Netherlands to ensure a better spread, the bank said in a statement. In addition, the bank hopes to boost consumer confidence by showing there is enough gold in the Netherlands to take the country through a new economic crisis. | richgit
21/11/2014 10:13 | Hi Richgit, interesting post (as always). But is your final sentence really calling for $100 per ounce? | hutch_pod
19/11/2014 18:17 | Gold price bombed to 1180 ish on swiss ballot then mostly recovered in one hour .. guess that's a sign of strength? | hutch_pod
18/11/2014 12:23 | Nice to see gold above $1200. | hutch_pod
18/11/2014 12:19 | Some rather large trades yesterday morning. | bones30
13/11/2014 15:15 | China signs currency swap deal with Qatar in the heart of the petro-dollar system.... So, HOD2, what with Brazil's new 3500-mile fibre optic run being awarded to companies outwith America = the writing is already on the wall. Suggest to hang on in here: price now is below recent Director buys, etc. Seems best to have a basket of junior gold stocks.. I don't plan to average down but am comforted by the excellent assets. :) | rhuvaal2 |
