Did someone really sell 95 shares for a total of £1.05p minus costs? The REPORTED movements in ALTN take some believing - what's really going on?Cheers, tightfist

Thanks for explanation. I obviously jumped to the wrong conclusion from the info on the ii web pages.

I do however look forward to the strong capital gains potential coming to fruition!

He is probably referring to yesterday when there were two sets of paired transactions.
As the share price was higher for the second transaction in each set, it looks like bed & ISAs (sell immediately followed with a buy). Or some similar roll over.

Also as there are not many free shares available, a trade around the size of 200,000 is enough to move the bid and offer prices.
Had there been four large sells then the bid price would have dropped.
Yet yesterday the bid and offer prices did not change all day.

Have the results ben anticipated with what looks like the sale of six million shares this morning? I thought we were looking towards 3p!

As ever the flow of info from Altyn is negligible, so looks like the next update of any sort is likely to be via the EOY results for 2017, which should be around the 28th / 29th April.

chris,A continuing game of patience, I think. Reportedly down 4.3% on one trade of £110 less costs. Is that the definition of Illiquidity!!PoG is looking solid and GDXJ was strong last night; I sometimes wonder if Goldbugs jump ship from the small illiquid miners into the bigger liquid (and hopefully rising) stocks? I think Altyn is the name of the ancient currency used in the area . . looks like they're trying to get away from $'s .

Interesting that the new proposed finance agreement is to be denominated in Tenge rather than dollars.

Yes , I read this to be just 'Part A'. Part B or B&C..... who knows ?

Maybe they are waiting to see how the dollar/ gold price responds over time or maybe further investment is dependent on a successful application of this initial $15m

Perhaps it is because the company have stated they will need 20-30m USD external funding to get them to where they need to be.......
