09/10/2019 08:09 | Gold going higher and higher, the maths is simple, this is worth more and more. Cannot believe you can still buy at this price. Take advantage of what looks like a forced seller and load up, this looks like a very easy multibagger and the herd are nowhere to be seen..... Yet... | littlepuppi7
09/10/2019 06:21 | Chip. You couldn’t sell at 0.70 for 90% of the day, certainly not at print time in the afternoon. Also if the 0.70s were all sells we would have been finishing lower and buys would have exceeded the 0.70 which they didn’t | haveapunt1
09/10/2019 00:48 | Chip, What's your view on the CPR? | glavey
09/10/2019 00:04 | Gold powering higher. This is worth more and more every day. The retate will be swift when it comes imo. | littlepuppi7
08/10/2019 19:13 | The AT (automatic) trades are from the order book for those with direct market access (DMA) and represent both a Buy and a Sell. | chipperfrd
08/10/2019 17:16 | They are buys at 0.70. Have been all day | haveapunt1
08/10/2019 15:31 | Seller at 0.70 cleared. | goldfund
08/10/2019 14:20 | I mean circa 1500, it's been bouncing off that area recently it's clear a base is being formed before a push higher. I certainly think the long term gold price prospects are more positive than reflected in the report.. | littlepuppi7
08/10/2019 13:11 | Hi RT,Agreed. The volume thus far today is only 1.53% TOTAL; my guess would be something like 1.2% Buys and 0.3% Sells, pending the big one?I guess that someone (in DWS?) has been set the objective of get out of ALTN ASAP, price being very secondary? Unfortunately they are small enough to be off the RNS radar. Possibly very reminiscent of what happened in Q2 when Garraway needed to exit Serabi SRB.Of course, my hypothesis may be completely wrong!Cheers, tightfist | tightfist
08/10/2019 12:49 | TF agreed. Although I think the share price is heavily tied in to the historic delays, lack of updates and transparency from management, I still fully expected the share price to rerate to at least 1.5p or thereabouts after the finance update. The release of the CPR today should in my mind have reinforced that re-rate to or north of the 1.5p range. Further rerating significantly above 1.5p on a sustained basis will IMO need the production improvements expected from the finance investment. | roguetreader
08/10/2019 12:39 | littlepuppi7, Not sure how you can call $1500 the floor when it was less than that 3 hours ago! | jc2706
08/10/2019 12:35 | Someone is selling a lot, relatively speaking! A couple of weeks ago we posted some numbers as to what conceivably the DB offshoot could be unloading...... Seems strange, value-destroying behaviour to me, but who am I to wonder. Another reason to avoid minnow holding funds? | tightfist
08/10/2019 12:18 | Also note the gold prices suggested in the CPR, all models well under 1500 which I think is the new floor price... How this is 15m mkt cap is ridiculous, but just look how quick VAST rerated | littlepuppi7
08/10/2019 12:14 | Someone is selling a few but they simply cannot have that many to sell, more sustained buying and this surges, simply provides investors with an excellent entry point. | littlepuppi7
08/10/2019 11:55 | I don't think that you will see a partner coming in. The amount borrowed should be sufficient to lift production substantially and, given the cost base, this should result in cash generation sufficient to cover a substantial amount of the development costs. Should this fall short of the actual requirement then I suspect that the bank would be very comfortable about releasing more funds. It is absolutely key to see the production levels developing as the capital is deployed. With it the future looks very bright, without it the share price will drift. | jc2706
08/10/2019 11:53 | Altyn Shares Up On New Resource Estimates For Sekisovskoye Gold Mine Shares in Altyn PLC jumped on Tuesday following release of a Competent Persons Report. Alliance News. By Dayo Laniyan; 8 October, 2019 Shares in Altyn PLC jumped on Tuesday following release of a Competent Persons Report for the Sekisovskoye mine in Kazakhstan, revising its resource estimates. Shares in the gold miner were 23% higher at 0.71 pence on Tuesday in London. The CPR was put together by Ernst & Young Advisory Services Pty Ltd, which estimated total ore reserves of 33.5 million tonnes. Proved ore reserves stands at 29.9 million tonnes, containing 3.47 million ounces of gold at a grade of 3.61 grams per tonne, and 5.7 million ounces of silver at a grade of 5.88 grams per tonne. Meanwhile, probable ore reserves was 3.6 million tonnes, containing 330,000 ounces of gold at a grade of 2.91 grams per tonne, and 550,000 ounces of sliver at a grade of 4.81 grams per tonne. The CPR also guided for a net present value of the Sekisovskoye mine at USD415.4 million, up from the USD238.6 million estimated in a CPR published in 2014. The 2014 CPR also guided for probable ore reserves of 2.26 million ounces, of gold, at a grade of 4.09 grams per tonne. | stevea171
08/10/2019 11:05 | The current mining operation is insignificant apart from it provides a bit of cash. They have arranged a chunky loan, and have a bankable CPR presumably to placate the lender. Now they need a mine plan, development schedule, and a team or partner to deliver it. The pieces are falling into place. | excellance
08/10/2019 10:56 | A nice RNS and interesting thoughts as to why they have proved up the reserves and completed a CPR for Seki. That said i concur with TIM00's post above. They need to prove they can deploy the capital and run a profitable mine.. Once we have some metrics on this it should move up sharply. | vish65
08/10/2019 10:40 | DB are trillions in debt, selling ALTN a hundred times over wouldn't save them. | excellance
08/10/2019 10:18 | The scale of the reserves is currently almost completely discounted by investors, given the company's chequered history of profitable mining. Once that changes, I think there's a good chance that its value (as shown by the CPR) will be taken more seriously, and will start to be reflected in the share price. So this is part of the jigsaw, but secondary to the operational side - for which we await news obviously! Good news there and we should be flying. | tim000
08/10/2019 10:17 | As usual buys outnumber sells by a huge margin but the share price is barely allowed to move. It seems Deutsche Bank may be continuing to sell down their holding to raise much needed cash to support their operations for a few more weeks/months before the bailiffs move in?! This overhang must surely be on its last legs by now? | stevea171
08/10/2019 10:06 | excellance, I confess that I disagree that this was largely anticipated. I think that the general consensus was wondering why they were releasing one for Sekisovskoye so the mere production of it was a bit of a surprise. The CPR has focused on increasing the confidence of the resource to such an extent that the reserves are now way higher than you would think necessary for current and future planned production levels. | jc2706
08/10/2019 09:36 | Agree entirely this builds now from here with confidence. Tiny market cap and tight stock should mean gains come quite quickly as well as it re rates to a more sensible level. | littlepuppi7
08/10/2019 09:28 | Today's rns is nice, tho largely anticipated so no big surprise to us already here, but it is a formal and bankable recognition and upgrade of what was already published. Today is just a starter, the big news will follow in due course as the other cpr is released and due diligence is done. Exciting times. | excellance
08/10/2019 09:23 | Excellent update and almost issued within the targeted timescales stated previous. Hopefully, this is a sign of a sea change in management approach that sees future timely updates to shareholders and the market, as IMO the share price will re-rate in line with market confidence in the company. It would be nice to see the CPR in full, maybe it will be published at some point on the website? Looking forward to see what the Teren-Sai CPR brings, as there is a lot less technical and market info available about it. RT | roguetreader |
