09/11/2022 14:39 | I think of all my picks, this has the best bang for buck risk reward at this level. Producer with years of proven track record for delivery, at least three... Spinning off cash in abundance, and always reluctant to dilute. What's not to like at under a quid? | excellance
09/11/2022 13:46 | Well, we're in the 80s again, still very low volume, but excellent financials as we await news of next stage finance. It's been a long long wait, but maybe we can turn the corner and fly, especially if gold prices remain robust and assuming Kazakhstan stays out of trouble with the neighbours. | excellance
08/11/2022 16:13 | Next news is likely to be of a bank loan, size and terms unknown. I think today's share price rise must be to do with the pog rather than corporate news, but hopefully getting the loan and clarity in that area will help our share price All gold miners or explorers doing well today. ALTYN I think has been undermined by lack of loan detail, but is extremely under valued based on metrics. | excellance
08/11/2022 16:10 | A few posts back I indicated it was time for gold to rally, it was heavily oversold, many indicators are showing the bear market in gold (and gold shares) may be coming to an end. ALTN has been taken down from £1.25/£1.45p on minuscule volume, it could rise back quickly as the market is so thin. I have taken a few today, too good to miss. | thecoyone
08/11/2022 15:52 | Time to buy ALTN, the lowest valued gold producer on the LSE. Kitco NEWS @KitcoNewsNOW · 9m BREAKING: #Gold soars to four-week high on heavy short covering, bargain hunting as USDX sells off, U.S. bond yields decline. Dec. gold up $32.40 at $1,713.30. #kitconews | goldenshread
08/11/2022 15:31 | Over $1700 in the blinken of an eye... | excellance
08/11/2022 15:27 | Gold just shot up £23 | excellance
08/11/2022 15:22 | Has this finally bottomed? | excellance
07/11/2022 13:34 | Lastly, why would there be two trades of 2? Where a basket is done but the bank doesn't trade those shares or want a position, he'll immediately ring his mate at another bank that does trade the stock and sell on to him. Most banks have 'friends' that pass these trades back on forth to square books. | palisz
07/11/2022 13:29 | These tiny trades are not anything to do with manipulation. There are two simple explanations. 1) basket trades of All-stock index. (Where a fund wants to buy or sell the whole index, a company as small as Altyn will result in tiny trades.) 2) residual trades from portfolios of deceased or donated holding. (i.e. Someone dies and donates entire portfolio to Cancer research, maybe originally this was 200 or 600 shares (Pre consolidation) from long ago and the charity will immediately sell everything, regardless of size or value. I saw this first hand many times. The only time these tiny trades are to manipulate is in the closing price fix, where a broker might try to push the price up or down to suit his book. Particularly at month and quarter end. We did witness this with Altyn a few years ago. | palisz
07/11/2022 12:47 | So what is your theory as to who is buying 2,2 and 6 shares? If the aim is to navigate the share price down, isn't it better to buy no shares? | researchcentre123
07/11/2022 09:51 | A number of indicators have turned bullish on the gold price, with so few shares in free float one wonders if ALTN has now become a buy at currently very depressed levels. I noticed on the 'Chip' bulletin board he has ALTN as the lowest valued gold producer on the LSE. I may take a few shortly. | thecoyone
04/11/2022 15:33 | All gold miners are up between 3% and 5% today except you know who. The manipulators of this stock have sucked the lifeblood out of prospective buyers, every morning starts with a tiny bot sell, every rare buy is met with a corresponding sell minutes after, at market close you usually get another bot sell. It has been going on for ages, I remain convinced, totally convinced, that there is going to be a MBO at a fraction of true value, just get on with it and put minority shareholders out of their misery. Anyone remember the £4.30p broker target last year LOL - now 73p and not a whisper from the BOD ! | goldenshread
04/11/2022 08:14 | Not a lot - but "hope springs eternal" which is just as well in the context of Hambledon, Goldbridges, Altyn..... | tightfist
31/10/2022 08:43 | A. The point is taken on board that there needs to be an increase in the dissemination of information in relation to the feedback of the Companies activities - the current format of quarterly reporting is to be expanded to make it more encompassing and detailed - and the aim to is disseminate the information within 4 weeks of the quarter end. How has this turned out so far? | stevea171
30/10/2022 06:37 | Frustrating as the share price is real progress has been made over the last two years. The management have been running the mine well and are certainly not overpaid. We all know how hard it is to develop a mine and how expensive it is.For those that can wait its my belief that if gold remains fairly stable the first dividends in 24/25 will be substantial compared to todays share price. We all want quick money but i feel this is a slow burner. My other kazakh share steppe cement is just the same on the PR front,5 or 6 rns a year and thats your lot!As always GLA | andydaf
29/10/2022 15:45 | In Feb/March this year the share price got to 140p with a gold price of around $1850, - pretty sure if gold would return to $1750 for example the share price could trade around the pound levels again.. | novicetrade68
28/10/2022 21:24 | AGM written Q&A 30/6. Q. Reporting continues to be disappointingly slow and minimal. In these uncertain times the company really needs to be making more regular and timely updates. Especially drilling results, and other relevant information. A. Q2 Production report? 1/8/22. Look back at the 'report'. >>> "quarterly reporting is to be expanded to make it more encompassing and detailed" Have they done this? Q3 Production report. The 4 weeks is up but no report. | stevea171
28/10/2022 19:56 | I doubt the Assaubayevs would be thinking of selling with the assets still relatively undeveloped, conflict involving its near neighbour Russia and depressed gold/miner prices. The last RNS on the large loan I expect they had to disclose due to its market sensitivity. I doubt the company is actively trying to get the price down. It has fallen to this level because of the market generally for miners and the minimal news flow or story of progress. If the Q3 Production report is as brief as the last one it will be just a few lines which a 5 year old could have produced 3 weeks ago ..... | stevea171
28/10/2022 17:57 | They could have taken it private at half this price a few years back when on AIM. They didn't, instead they applied and got a main market listing......which will be very valuable if they want to sell the company........much wider market place... Note also that the new non exec, Andrew Terry, dealt with the sale of Kazakhgold to Polyus back in 2010 for the Assaubayevs | stockknobjockeyvanbookstino
28/10/2022 17:43 | I don't entirely agree. Whereas they could do a lot to promote the stock, their last rns was info that would help the share price ie a large loan potentially coming. Why give that info out if they're trying to manipulate the price down? And why keep directors salaries low? | researchcentre123
28/10/2022 09:49 | GS. Yes, that's about it. If we get something for our shares it might be a good result cf them just walking away and leaving us with nothing which they have form for and are quite capable of unfortunately ..... | stevea171
28/10/2022 09:36 | Steve I have been suggesting an MBO will come for a while now, the question is at what price, I am totally convinced the share price is being manipulated down and the lack of communication from the BOD is deliberate. Nonetheless any offer would need to be at a premium - I cannot see how the share price can drop further from current levels given the last broker target was north of £4 a share. My view is an offer will come IRO £1 to £1.25p a share, a fraction of true value of course. Buyers of the shares now should benefit. | goldenshread |
