I would like to add my last post, in the past, ahead of production updates, the shares have risen as high as £1.75p.

If they appoint a new UK broker I am quite sure there will be a fanfare from them concerning ALTN, a new and realistic broker target will be very welcome.

Kazakhstan distancing themselves from dependence on Russia for exports. May help steady nerves a little.

Quinan, i'm thinking they make about $1000 per oz so great profit margin

Q2 revenue $15m sounds about right, more of the same will confirm growth story

The Q2 production numbers may only be a week away, last year they were announced in the 14th, from the tone of the AGM replies one suspects they will be very good.

Has anyone else noticed that on Sharescope it has been reported that on 24th June 2022 Freedom Finance purchased 1.54 million shares, or 5.6%. What does this relate to? Or are they just playing catch-up to the transactions last summer?.Increased liquidity would not go amiss on this Uber strongly held share, IF they are genuinely tradable.

I suppose there's one favourable aspect to the tardy reporting and governance concerns, it did manage to improve the liquidity for a little while.

QUINAN, they have been given the Mines in Nagrno Karabch. The infrastructure was built by the Armenians. I am sure you guys must have heard about the war between Azerbyjan and Armenia. Copper and Gold. Yes but please, not a brief look at it.

Researchcentre. A very good moniker but what research did you do ? LOL.
I am not trying to pull a fast one on anyone.
Everyone to their own.

A brief look at AAZ they made $12.6mil profit before tax compared to ALTN of $18mil yet their cash pot is better but we know ours is down to expansion our turnover was $50mil compared to AAZ of £95mil so our profit margins are much better, AAZ valued at £111mil compared to us at a crazy £25mil so like on like we should be around £60mil or around £2.60p NOT 94p madness.

Good morning all.
Apologies in advance re O/T.
Check out AAZ, Great news there this AM. It is a Gold and a Copper producer in Azerbyjan, It also pays a dividend. I have been a holder there for a few years.
The BoD there holds 42% shares.
Please do your own DD and DYOR etc.
Have a good day.
ATB.

And the highlight being the grade target of 2.2gt....attainment of that in itself will give us a 10% increase in production....

Yes and the prepayment was just that - prepayment on an agreement from an existing supplier who'd proved before they could do the job. The supplier has been working effectively for the last 6 months and working through the money. The supplier needed more upfront this time as the supplier wanted to buy some new equipment - a perfectly reasonable system and quite standard in Kazakhstan. I believe Altyn were taken by surprise by the auditors' stance as the auditors hadn't complained before, but I understand that Altn will make sure that they don't have these problems again. Storm in a teacup so hopefully they can now move on with progressing the company, which they have been doing well at.

So all the scaremongering was just that, the company is using its own cash to improve and expand its gold production, we should be well past £1.50 by now with a move towards £2 before Q2 which by the looks of things will show yet another BIG improvement.

The share price was around £1.40p before worries over the delayed results in May, it is only a matter of time before the price recovers.

I'm sure you all saw that last week Goldman raised their year end 2022 target for gold to $2500. Unfortunately GS doesn't have a great track record, but I guess they have to be right once in awhile!

Very pleased with the answers provided by management who have been delivering excellent performances at the mine, increased production, grades and cash generation.

The company is materially undervalued, when they appoint a UK broker it should bring a new suite of investors to the company, the shares are illiquid, decent volume moves the price disproportionally.

The share price should be nearer £2 than under £1 even in today's woeful market, the forward PE is barely 2.

well I have taken some back today.

Still not completely comfortable with the way this Prepayment/RP transaction has been handled but it does feel like just about all possible bad news has been priced in now so lets see how this plays out.

Like the UK broker and perhaps points the way to London finally being used to seek some investment; just hope reputation not damaged irreparably with the qualified audit report
