23/6/2022 13:44 | I think the world has figured out this is in Kazakhstan now and that they speak Russian. Some of the better educated realise that it's a little different from what Borat depicted . But good results are good results. Should have some effect | researchcentre123
23/6/2022 12:40 | Online buy limits have reduced significantly over the last hour. From around £1, over the last 12 months, the share price has recovered 4 times back to the £1.40p £1.45p level. Looks like there is upside here for traders right now. | broken_arrow1
23/6/2022 12:06 | The AGM is not until 30th June, next Thursday, the results should be excellent, as a matter of passing interest ALTN is the No1 lowest valued producer on the LSE in a summery provided on the Chipperfield thread (link below) This is so under radar and market conditions are not helpful but at current levels the shares are dirt cheap and have the ability to add 50%+ quickly on news. AGM link | goldenshread
23/6/2022 11:04 | I fear geopolitical conditions will put a dampener on good results here. | bsg
23/6/2022 11:01 | The YoY figures are going to show some great % improvements and the only problem is enlarging the column widths in the annual report to accommodate this spectacular growth story. Market asleep, apart from the readers and writers on this thread! | golden prospect
23/6/2022 09:45 | Struggling to work out how this is going to play out.......... | chrisdgb
23/6/2022 09:24 | The latest is Friday morning, but the whole thing is irrelevant, only the statement matters. But annoyingly late and no time to review and send questions to the AGM. Anyone know the correct email... the one given is not correct. | palisz
23/6/2022 07:40 | Tomorrow now? Thursday is the latest but that is the AGM | researchcentre123

22/6/2022 13:06 | Hopefully they will make a difference. It doesn't help that for example on advfn it says the PE ratio is 11.6 when it is currently 2.7 and likely to be half that in new earning. I wonder how many other sites are misreporting the financials | researchcentre123
22/6/2022 11:11 | If they make $30m (£25m) gross profit as I suspect there is no way the company can only be valued at the current £28m, it is a true nonsense. What is more the company has already demonstrated that FY 2022 will actually be better than FY 2021. The delayed accounts have unsettled a few and this has been exploited by market makers and city types. The current share price is a gift, even in today's market, the broker target remains £3.80p to £4.20p. The shrewd are buyers. | goldenshread
22/6/2022 10:20 | sloppy. There is no better time spent for a spread bet company than in increasing its profits, and reducing exposure does that. That's why I don't spread bet. In unforeseen circumstances that hit the market for six temporarily, you can ride it through owning the shares. Personally far from them having better things to do I believe spread bet and derivatives are no better than the Comex and other similar market frauds with paper only commodities and they do distort the market. | pensionplanner
22/6/2022 08:59 | Personally not buying the margin trading theory for one second. Companies like IG have minimal exposure to illiquid stocks like Altyn and even if they did they delta hedge when the position is opened. They have better things to do with their time then trying to manipulate a market in Altyn !! This is simply a case of weakness due to apparent delays in issuing the AR, ever changing perceptions of geopolitical risk in conjunction with weak markets in general. If the AR is indeed issued in the coming days then that will hopefully improve sentiment here. | sloppyg
22/6/2022 08:13 | The spread bet company that may be involved are IG, probably looking to shake out the longs to reduce their exposure. This usually happens when news is about to hit the market. This morning the market has tightened in ALTN with limited stock being offered so a move up looks likely. | broken_arrow1
22/6/2022 08:07 | I think a value play on any kind of margin is dangerous as the nature of them is the world doesn't like the share for now....you're just waiting for that view to change and it might continue downwards until it goes up | researchcentre123
22/6/2022 08:02 | I repost this for new onlookers..... So the next event will be full year results. Their full year revenue will be circa $50m They made a gross profit of $14m on H1 revenue of $23m So it looks like they will make a gross profit of $30m in FY 2021 - net profit circa $23m Current m/cap is $35m Totally crazy valuation, but there we are. | goldenshread
22/6/2022 08:00 | You have to feel for those who engage in spread betting and were long, as no doubt they aren't there any more. Its so easy for spread betting companies to create the result they need. | pensionplanner
22/6/2022 07:58 | Great news if the Annual Results are going to be announced this week, the delay has been concerning, the results will be excellent and the market cannot ignore them. The share price will recover and I would not be surprised to see it back (or exceed) at the top end of that £1 to £1.50p range. Time to buy. | mininglamp
22/6/2022 07:41 | Thanks for that. It does seem surprising that a company that last year was trying to bump up the share price does something that really doesn't help it. Still sht happens I guess, the accounting dept might have all been suffering from long covid, the tea lady blew up the computer with a pot of Earl grey or the chief accountant left his laptop on the train...... | researchcentre123
22/6/2022 07:34 | Spike over on LSE says has spoken with the Co and results will be out this week. A few investors seem to have the jitters.... | stockknobjockeyvanbookstino
21/6/2022 16:01 | The point made by Goldenshread is a interesting one, the share price has gyrated with a range of £1 to £1.55p over the last 9 months according to my chart. For traders a buy around current levels looks a very strong entry point with a potential double digit % gain possible in quick time. I see no reason for the drop, the Q1 update was very positive, a reminder.... Revenues soared 42.9% yoy, the average gold price has increased from the prior period but a significant factor in the increase was the rise in output and grades achieved in the period. Despite severe weather conditions, the company was able to increase mining production by 2% yoy from 131.7kt to 134.5kt. Higher milled ore up 14% yoy and improved grades at 2.03g/t in 1Q22 versus 1.78g/t in 1Q21 resulted in 26% yoy increase in poured gold. The Company expects further grade improvement in the upcoming quarters following the purchase of new equipment. | mininglamp
21/6/2022 14:36 | Some big sales today.....maybe all one seller? | researchcentre123
21/6/2022 14:03 | Yes they could get some outsourcer on upwork to do it all their pr for $100..... | researchcentre123
21/6/2022 13:08 | The company are getting on with the job of profitable mining. Guess folk are happy to pay £1.50 and above on release of results, but for now £1 is ignored. Yes PP, looks orchestrated. | golden prospect |
