UK inflation over 5%, interest rates at just 0.25%, and the economy looks like it is broadly recovering.

Interest rates are still net negative but are rising, and may rise a lot more in coming months which will eventually squeeze corporate profits across the board.

I think money will increasingly move into gold this year.

Patience required here.Trading on my estimates of a p/e of two one of two things will happen,either pog collapses,unlikely as plenty of political tensions around and the west will not stop printing and definately will not raise interest rates high enough to stop inflation or this share will rerate to something more sensible.As always good luck all and dyor

Gold moving up again and news expected from ALTN, surely this combination should start to move the price more dynamically, one of the most undervalued producers on the market.

Conservative broker target £2.50p !

Bought back in over the last 2 days, this stock has served me well historically, usually buy in ahead of news, the shares are cheap and move fast in a thin market.

Where they could go is anyone's guess but why not £2 for starters, with gold heading higher etc.

Some sizable buys have been hitting the ticker over the last week or so, this is a positive sign, folks are starting to see the significant value here, as a reminder the Q4 operations and production update is imminent & the conservative broker target price is £2.50p a share.

Which is in tune with them operating a single company town essentially I.e. they are the main employer. ( pretty sure that's right) so therefore they will feel a greater responsibility to their employees than would normally be the case. IMHO of course. Thus risk adverse.

I think the company are developing in a very solid and cautious way. They know that gold prices can rise or fall quickly so we need a very solid balance sheet with low debt commitments.

It's a slower route to riches but it's less risky, and in the end will deliver a greater reward.

Excellence, you were lucky to get 10k. On some occasions they wouldn't sell one, not even above the trading share price and would not even take limit orders.

This is so undervalued, with the reservation of course that I've always had a concern of a family buyout, hence the often seemingly manipulated downwards share price

I'm guessing there is little stock left below 120p, so any good news next week may become a scramble. ALTN is a crazy undervalued stock, destined for radar if re-rate is substantial.

Yeah pog may be lower but production and grades may be higher, so perhaps Q4 will be broadly in line.

The other interesting aspect from Q3 is mining rates up from low 130K's to 150K, although curious that the amount milled stayed near same; suggests increased stocks.

For those interested you cannot even buy 500 shares online with most retail brokers - no fixed price available.

Looks like they are bidding hard for stock also.
