23/9/2019 11:27 | I've ticked you up JC, in sympathy for you costing us The Ashes. You'll never be able to forgive yourself. | tim000
23/9/2019 11:21 | Massive overhang here still - good buying this morning and nada - can still buy 2.5 million with Hargreaves for 0.68p - needs positive news to get rid of the aforementioned. | 2prsimo
23/9/2019 08:51 | Tim000, Sadly, I couldn't agree less. Whenever I watched the cricket we always lost a wicket or dropped Steve Smith. It was definitely my fault. In my experience TW has the same effect on shares he tips. | jc2706
21/9/2019 19:47 | A broken clock gets it right twice a day. | abbotslynn
21/9/2019 08:49 | Whether TW tips the company or not, it won't affect ALTN's gold production! I've noticed that when I stopped watching England's Test team playing against Australia, it made absolutely no difference to the scores! | tim000
21/9/2019 08:16 | By the law of averages even TW has to be right sometimes :) | roguetreader
20/9/2019 18:15 | JC2706 - Dam right it usually means the kiss of death. | red army
20/9/2019 16:18 | Damn. Just noticed that this has been tipped by TW. He is the worst tipster I have ever come across. Let's hope that it is not his usual kiss of death. | jc2706
20/9/2019 14:09 | All depends on the execution. We might be pleasantly surprised if the new funding enables them to get to the level of ore extraction that they are targeting (60-70k tonnes/month) combined with the suggested improved grade. This would massively increase production to a run rate of 40-50k oz which in turn would significantly decrease the cash costs. With gold at current levels this should start generating a decent amount of cash. | jc2706
20/9/2019 13:40 | The $17m is agreed and a great deal at 6% however the requirement for capex for u/g development in 2020 is $26m, the diff it's a big ask from cash flow. | sandeels
20/9/2019 13:39 | The $17m is agreed and a great deal at 6% however the requirement for capex for u/g development in 2020 is $26m, the diff it's a big ask from cash flow. | sandeels
20/9/2019 12:11 | The CPR must be linked to the $17m loan so I do not see how it can be delayed as the draft version would have been made available to the lender. | brasso3
20/9/2019 11:59 | I really hope they dont miss their own deadline. This news is surely something that is totally in their control. Dont think they would quote eom if they weren't in receipt of the data. GLA | wrighty46
20/9/2019 11:56 | Thanks, I would hope any planned maintenance was brought forward into H1 as we did seem to have equipment and parts issues. GLA | wrighty46
20/9/2019 11:44 | The CPRs will come and they'll probably live up to expectation but I shan't be holding my breath for them to arrive by eom. | sandeels
20/9/2019 11:24 | Wrighty - the company has a history of doing planned maintenance in Aug or Sep so I'd be cautious about a straight repeat of July across the Q3. . | vish65
20/9/2019 10:51 | I will also be firing off an email asking if an operations/ Q3 update is planned especially with the ramp up of throughput in july hopefully carrying on for the rest of the qtr. Would be good if we all sent off to the company as they did ask for suggestions. GLA | wrighty46
20/9/2019 10:38 | Stake building continuing. MMs trying to deter orders at times with the spread? | chrisis33
20/9/2019 10:37 | 6 full trading days left. Dont think the company will disappoint the market this time. GLA | wrighty46
20/9/2019 08:22 | They do. It's usually thought to be the place where market makers seek to hide trades. | jc2706
20/9/2019 07:30 | Yes, I expect we have all made unreported trades, seems to particularly afflict some stocks - especially some ORB Retail Bonds where the intraday pricing can sometimes be quite dynamic, but with no reported trades..... I have seen it said that NEX provide an alternative trading facility? | tightfist
19/9/2019 22:17 | I would not pay too much attention to ADVFN trades as they do not reveal all trades. | red army
19/9/2019 21:55 | Very intriguing! The small shop analogy works for me - "closed" during "open" hours happened to me only last week..... | tightfist
19/9/2019 18:55 | The order book can have hidden orders, so that if you attempted to buy or sell you might still have got a quote at similar prices to earlier in the day. On occasions throughout the day, market participants may temporarily remove their visible bid/offer orders from the order book. If it is quiet then no customers notice and the market participants don't miss out on any business. Similarly if they are not expecting any further customers then small shops, cafes, airline check-in desks etc. will close early to liberate the staff.
