Sween- The pre close RNS early in June said 'The Group will keep the market informed of any further UGS contract awards as we progress through the remainder of the tender season' which I took to mean that they would give news on this aspect before the accounts publication date. Anyway the news cannot be much ahead of market expectations which may be viewed as a negative in this market.

Sean - the RESULTS are released on the 30th at 7am, the update especially on Gear Shop and current trading including the expansion of AIM membership will be the key factors to determine the market response.If these are not very positive then we have been deceived.

Anyone who bought in 2018 when the CEO arrived has suffered a large percentage reduction in their equity and received no dividends. That might be what the post is about.

Based on volume alone, I reccommend waiting for a great update and the volume to jump, showing a change of perception by the market and then buy, buy, buy.

Perhaps lady luck will be watching and make sure that its not a buy at the spike high ! (Btw I’m not being serious)

Yump - market perception has a simple metric and that is the vole of shares traded as a percentage of the total issued. ALT's daily share volume shows you the market does not bother with such small caps.

What is the market’s perception of ALT? Has there been a study?

As it happens, my perception of ALT is that it fits my small company investment criteria, in which the daily volume is more or less irrelevant.

I also hold some Apple shares for a different reason.

Not a share bought or sold today- bizarre for a quoted company and reason why tiny volumes shift the share price So it can go up or down very rapidly.

I guess it all depends on whether the company plans to update imminently.
