Sween - that is indeed a worry on Gearshops outlook,lets hope that no RNS is down to last minute contract delays and not the awards being ' non material'

Unless new gear shop contracts are cumulatively material, it feels like they will update at results time, end of July.

Well North if they need more time to do a precise update, it may mean some large awards are awaited. On the other hand, it might be the bad old ways being slipped into!

Stella stated in the Interims on the 28th November "It is very pleasing to note that the momentum we showed in the first half of the year has continued into this period and we look forward to updating shareholders in the New Year" And true to her word they did, on the 1st May.

That would be duplicitous given the comment I highlighted above namely “The Group will keep the market informed of any further UGS contract awards as we progress through the remainder of the tender season.”
Well they also told us that the tender season tapers out in June ( let’s face it whoever wins these contacts have to be up and running in the colleges when the semester opens in August and runs full steam with new student entries in September). Also the imminently expected contracts mentioned 6 weeks ago has to be factored in.

A wait to results on 30th July is therefore totally unacceptable! And would question managements integrity.

Oh well , till next week then (tues-thurs), I have to think that they are signing some last minute Gear Shop contracts but we know from the last announcement that these taper out in June.
There are few opportunities for ‘product placement’ companies to generate newsflow but I think both the CEO and Zeus need todo more to publicise this company.
Keeping investors waiting past next week would in my opinion be unfortunate considering this statement in early May

“Further contracts are anticipated imminently from a robust pipeline that typically tapers in June. Additionally, our existing Gear Shops are having a strong graduation season, providing a positive start to FY25. So price seems to be steady now and slightly increasing Let's hope we nudge back over the 50 p soon and then beyond

Tip - when you add a link to advfn it gets blocked- see northwards post- all you have to do is EDIT your post and change the https to hTtps
By changing tge small case t to upper case T the link then magically works.

It’s very early days and we await tge trading update ( next week surely) the share price to look for is 52p which will represent major resistance- break through that and then 55p and if it did then the sky is blue 😉

The stock looks to be under accumulation. It is now above the 200 day MA. Since 01/05/24 there has been heavy buying and broken the 41p resistance level well and truly. Next resistance is at 47p then 49p then 51-52 resistance level.

lol heard this so many times before…unless it’s back up by fundamentals it will soon plummet back down again…but here’s hoping..I do have a large long term investment…
