HNW North . I should have done same re John .. Truth is i have XLM also but i get fed up of his holier than thou attitude . This is equity investing . Money of us have crystal balls. We go with our gut and we dont need his attitude . Anyway .. on ALT , we enter 2024 with new optimism . A few Uni wins and we are in a whole different ball game . Only way is up .

The significant AMP contract snnouncements appeared end March last year. Not much in Feb trading update, likely to be mainly about other markets but perhaps they will be able to make positive noises about the state of contract negotiations.

I don’t expect a trading update till mid February, it is a key statement when it comes in particular how well ALT has done in converting college pitches into contracts for Gear Locker.
In the meantime I would hope that Altitude are making ‘hay’ at the 2 biggest professional products shows of the year PPAI the HUGE EXPO ( 15-18th January in Las Vegas) AND PSI the big European show in Dusseldorf( 9-11th January ).those shows especially the Las Vegas expo are ultra important industry events.

Would be surprised / disappointed if discount is more than 10 percent. Hopefully existing holders can participate. I suspect so given Varley / contacts etc hold so much.

SME’s have just hit a bad bear market, so raises are lower than they would be even in an average market. So it all feels a bit down even if its for working capital and rapid expansion.

In different times it would all be greeted by applause.

As long as the reason stated for any ‘raise’ is to support the expansion of the AMP programme and in particular GEAR SHOP then I will be happy.

Last year ALT ‘won’ 15 college contracts and were successful in 60% of pitches - that’s an incredible ratio, if they can replicate that this year it will be fabulous. More important of course is the size of the college and student number covered. At present they have small , medium and large college wins - the big moneymaker will be the extra large institutions and to cover the costs involved if they do win any of those will need extra funding.

The good news is that results included this statement

-- We are actively engaged in the annual pitching season added to by referrals as our brand reputation strengthens. Today, our pipeline is strong, growing, and inclusive of all 4 levels of accounts Small to Extra Large.

I am hoping for 30+ contracts FY 24 including a biggie, if that happens revenues will be incredibly healthy from September- Dec24 provided they get them all up and running for the start of the college season.

It must be a large raise so.
Only greedy MMs, just being greedy, would push the shareprice 35% lower on a smaller funding.
Or am I underestimating the ability of MMs to gather around a small trough?
