14/9/2017 19:49 | great news thank you for the reply | hhdd1
14/9/2017 19:30 | robbnw - I don't disagree that ALT are employing a major new IT platform. What is unknown is whether they are doing it well &, more importantly, if they are gaining customers on it. The lack of an update in this regard is a concern. The fact that they seem to have had to employ someone to sort out the operations adds to the concern. Please explain the rationale behind your statement that at current values they are way way undervalued. An IT platform with few customers on it is to all intents & purposes remains an IT platform. It had may as well be an elephant if it is not delivering on its purpose. A big white one... 😀 | thebigshortfella
14/9/2017 19:05 | Hhdd1What made it change was a major new IT platform This company at current values is way way undervalued What a buying opportunity Time to pack away more!! | robbnw
14/9/2017 10:21 | for 5 years it was at 10p what changed to make it worth 25 million. i did well on the rise, but if september 26th is not a clear update i can see a big fall | hhdd1

14/9/2017 10:12 | Lets see what they say on the 26th - I'm still to be convinced and judging by the share price falls, I'm not alone. That said, with a current market cap of £25m, if this does go to plan, the rewards from here could be stunning. | northwards
14/9/2017 10:09 | northwards - but should it be? My concern is that ALT MAY have bitten off more than they can chew and are therefore not doing any of them particular well. Strategy and grand ideas are great but you need to execute them. Can you do that effectively if you are juggling lots of balls? | thebigshortfella

14/9/2017 10:00 | They are recruiting heavily at Channl, so looks to still be key to strategy. | northwards
14/9/2017 09:04 | hhdd1 - I agree. It will be very interesting. I am not a holder but I am very curious. If you are right I will be aiming to do a trade at that level. I believe that ALT will come good as they have a great team but to do so they need to focus on converting prospects to customers. I sense that the CHANNL has been an unnecessary diversion. I would put money on it that they should have focused on converting the Aprinta opportunities and that by not doing so the take up rate has been low. Once they sorted that out then they should have done CHANNL. Obviously I could be wrong! | thebigshortfella
14/9/2017 08:59 | Yep it was stated some time ago. It is likely thay no one is using the system | allstar4eva
14/9/2017 08:56 | allstar4eva - I suspect that ALT senior management are excellent at the "big picture" stuff but not so great at the "small details" and "execution". If I am correct the appointment is a good one. But, it looks as though they MAY disappoint in the short term... | thebigshortfella
14/9/2017 08:37 | Tbsf I think the mkt read it that way. | allstar4eva
14/9/2017 08:35 | totally, September the update will be interesting. they are not a start up the lost money for 8 years what makes them now worth 60p. this is the best short, 20p by xmas | hhdd1
13/9/2017 20:28 | Another way of looking at this appointment is that ALT's US strategy is not going to plan & they need a big hitter to sort it out. I have been following ALT for a year now and I am starting to grow slightly dubious... | thebigshortfella
13/9/2017 14:27 | The appointment is good. Figures to show it's a good idea to have some ALT even better. They sell the news, esp. in this market, & no figures gets this response - down... Patience indeed. | napoleon 14th
13/9/2017 14:08 | The new appointment in the USA is just what we needWe need someone with real knowledge of the American market. The new appointment ticks this box in a big way I don't understand the fall in the share price other than impatience To be honest , those that are hoping for a quick fix here are in the wrong game patience is what it is all about In the end this business has amazing potential and SURELY the fact that the Board have appointed a big hitter in the US speaks volumes | robbnw
13/9/2017 14:07 | why in 2 years will it go up? | hhdd1
13/9/2017 13:19 | I've mainly got mine in the ISA and looking for multi bagging over the next couple of years but if you're leveraged up I'm sure it does feel like the end of the world. | samdb
13/9/2017 13:10 | 15pc down what wrong with in line for this to happen- do peaple think thisis a blip and the company is good going forward? | ali47fish
13/9/2017 12:38 | Look at the RNS this morning, last paragraph. All the best | toyin
13/9/2017 12:31 | Only forward looking statement recently I could find is:"The Board believe these changes will encourage engagement and activation of Channl sites by distributors and their end-user customers, the engagement of whom is still at a formative stage and too early to provide an indication of representative performance. However, we remain confident that the solution is compelling and potentially structurally changing in the $21 billion US personalised and promotional products, signage and printed wearables market ("the US market") and is capable of providing entry into the US print market."Hard to know what their precise expectations are for that, they haven't provided guidance figures probably because it's such a new part of the business. | samdb
13/9/2017 11:58 | The in line comment this morning just wasn't good enough, they need to be beating. All the best | toyin
13/9/2017 10:40 | i agree i like to see managers buy, the issue hear is they sold then bought a few this is esy way to support a share price. you got a company with five years losses , ware do you valutation off 60p a share, be great to see good news on the 26th, | hhdd1 |
