18/10/2019 08:09 | Great recommendation SCSW | nw99
17/10/2019 16:00 | Still dirt cheap, this is a world class company. Even at a PE of 50-60, cheap as chips. I love the margins and expertise they have. Clearly customers love them. | nitbhav06
17/10/2019 15:52 | Keep buying | nw99
17/10/2019 11:49 | Well, I've been watching broker targets in shares since about 1998/99 (and investing since 1996 in funds), so what do you think that I think of broker targets. | martywidget
17/10/2019 10:20 | So if you believe broker recommendations you should sell here! | toffeeman
17/10/2019 09:42 | Liberum Capital today reaffirms its buy investment rating on Alpha Fx Group Plc and raised its price target to 880p (from 810p). | martywidget
17/10/2019 08:41 | Strong breakout registering ath let’s hope it holds. RM | rampmeister
17/10/2019 07:58 | Yep, fantastic business momentum & ahead once again, despite the extra costs in H2. Looking for 1000p by year end. | xajorkith
17/10/2019 07:13 | Good numbers again | nw99
15/10/2019 18:57 | Even at a PE of 45-50 this is still cheap. Wonderful company with huge upside. Operating margin also phenomenal. Management understand their customers and this is evident by increasing customer base. | nitbhav06
15/10/2019 15:49 | Sudden surge. Trading statement about to drop? Edit - a few stocks surging, so assume it's Brexit related news. | xajorkith
11/10/2019 18:00 | I think its PI sentiment, AFX is my mind was brexit safe as currency fluctuations will work in its favour. AFX is a great business, superb culture, expensive but great margins - happy holder. | mysteronz
11/10/2019 16:42 | The share price has leapt 65p ( 8.5% ) to £ 7.90 / £ 8.20 today . I suppose one or a combination of the following is responsible : 1/. the £ has leapt against the Euro on the news that there might be an agreement between the USA and China , with this currency volatility showing the benefits of exporters using Alpha FX ; 2/. due to the same positive news about trade negotiations between the USA and China , stock markets have done very nicely today , with the FTSE 250 , for example , up a wonderful 4.01 % ( + 770.98 to 20,006.7 at the moment ) , so perhaps Alpha FX is merely being pushed up by the general trend ; 3/. there were three sizeable purchases today , all at £ 8.00 ( 15,000 shares at 9.45 am = £ 120,000 ; 15,000 shares at 9.46 am = £ 120,000 ; 30,000 shares at 9.46 am = £ 240,000 ) , with the fact that these three purchases occurred almost simultaneously indicating ( to me at least ) that this was by one purchaser and that the market makers were unable to fill the order in one transaction . Does anyone else have any insights ? Good luck all . | mrnumpty
26/9/2019 04:40 | Been doing research on AFX and based on the interim results and growth plans, this looks very cheap. Appreciate PE is high however, this is a growth stock. I can see this becoming a £1bn company in the next decade. The operating margin is nothing short of spectacular. This is compounded by the fact that they are looking to automate certain activities which will further increase margins. What I really like about AFX is the culture which is entrepreneurial and the fact that they have partners is a bonus.Seems like a very well run company with exponential growth opportunities. | nitbhav06
12/9/2019 08:34 | If it's an 'O' trade you can't determine a buy or a sell. Only with 'AT's | toffeeman
12/9/2019 08:12 | Yet another example of how no credence can be given to the allocation of " buy " or " sell " status to transactions : my purchase of 1000 shares at 8.02 this morning , at £ 7.78 is wrongly shown on Hargreaves Lansdowne as a "sell " . Perhaps this is because the purchase price on their site was £ 7.90 at the time , and the price I paid was significantly lower , nearer to the " sell " price of £ 7.70 at that moment . | mrnumpty
06/9/2019 16:53 | thanks pratt | ali47fish
06/9/2019 09:57 | Same. Whilst I m quietly confident this will continue to grow, valuation is still pretty high. However this does move quite quickly on low volume and tends to drift down between updates so perhaps wait for a dip before adding/getting in? | pratt2
06/9/2019 08:30 | how come nobody is adding here - i hesitate myself because of the high valuation at 26- comments welcome! | ali47fish
05/9/2019 13:12 | Lovely move | nw99
05/9/2019 11:31 | Agree with you X. Happy to be a holder here | nfs
05/9/2019 09:07 | Stockopedia numbers updated now after I raised the issue. FY 12/19 - 26.1p FY 12/20 - 31.4p Conservative forecasts by Liberum’s own admission & likely to be beaten. | xajorkith
04/9/2019 12:25 | Stockopedia's eps numbers are wrong & haven't been updated from before July's trading update (when they said FY numbers would be ahead). Personally, and despite the extra costs in H2, I'm expecting at least 28-30p this year, with 35-40p possible in 2020 based on their growth trajectory & business momentum. | xajorkith |
