ali, I can't give specific advice, but I am watching the stock and am interested in the chart, hoping for a good entry point.

Look back at some of the spikes in price further down the chart. They all retrace for a while, then buyers come in, pushing the price back up. Buyers are more likely to be interested around support zones. These are areas of previous price action and/or consolidation. Try a google search of price support, then look at a candlestick chart of AFX, and see if you can spot where, based on previous spikes, the price is likely to turn.

Message to Pratt from Mr Numpty !!! Sorry to hear about Vodafone - we've all been there . Try Small Company Share Watch ( SCSW ) , who tipped AlphaFX some time ago and acquired 2000 Alpha shares , at £ 4.70 for their parallel Growth Portfolio 3 , on 27/7/2017 . Growth Portfolio 3 is a distillation of the magazine's best ideas , although I don't think that real money is invested . However , as with all investments , caveat emptor - even SCSW , which I rate highly , has some stinkers - although I didn't invest in them , the magazine tipped Patisserie Valerie and Bargain Booze ( oops ! ) . Wishing you better luck with your investments .

According to the Hargreaves Lansdown site , the latest four trades were consecutive and each was for 1000 shares , all at £ 8.19 . The four trades occurred between 13.04pm and 13.05pm today . Presumably these were by the same purchaser who was unable to deal in one single trade of 4000 shares . Might this mean that market makers do not have large quantities of AlphaFX shares ?

6 months ago, I had managed to release some funding to invest in equities. And I was tossing up between this as a speculative growth stock after my research and Vodafone as a defensive income stock.Ended up doing 90% VOD and 10% here after much deliberation.How I wish I could turn back time and change it the other way around....

They are all 'O' trades so you can't accurately id whether buys or sells.

You can only do this with 'AT' trades.

No just a reiteration of the FY report nothing we don’t already know except SCSW thinks this will reach a tenner.

Slight concern hatfullofsky is posting here (he has displayed poor judgement elsewhere IMO), but other than that, is there anything to be concerned about?
