25/11/2010 21:48 | Growth will probably come from buying more companies or tablets. They have a new facility now of 20 million +, which i assume they will put to good use. | stegrego
25/11/2010 20:34 | Could be Phonics - but the company have signalled this for quite a while and I would have thought it was already priced in....anyway it is now! Silverfern - whilst Deltracortil sales will certainly stall, were you referencing other products as well and if so which? | melody9999
24/11/2010 09:41 | Unfortunately it looks like the monopoly alliance had on their leading drug deltracortil is about to come to an end: Perhaps that's part of the reason behind the recent drop off | phonics
23/11/2010 07:40 | Steg: is that a statistic you can justify :) I invested heavily in APH early in the year between 25-30p. The current price represents a significant gain on that range given the prevailing economy. Within APH's portfolio are products whose market growth is stalling. I have no doubt they are very well run and have performed brilliantly in the last two years but where does anyone here see growth coming from to sustain or push the market cap higher? | silverfern
22/11/2010 21:25 | The share price struggles every time they make a CULS conversion, as i think the shares are sold into the market. However, this is a great medium term bet and much more likely to come up with the goods than some dodgy oufit drilling for something in the back of beyond... | stegrego
22/11/2010 20:54 | Hence my leaving - Melody it would be v useful if you would provide a technical basis for your contention. | silverfern
22/11/2010 12:35 | Yeah - suspect some money leaving to join faster moving stocks - especially in resources. I like to keep a nice balance portfolio and nothing to suggest that trading for APH continues to be anything but positive. We may get chance to add a few more. | melody9999
22/11/2010 10:56 | Going away from that 50p melody.Shame it broke that 36p line.Still we may get an update in December. | shauney2
07/11/2010 17:40 | hmmm - looks like time for a break out here - I'm fully committed but looking at the graph I can see 50p coming quite quickly. | melody9999
15/10/2010 12:05 | SMART INVESTOR1: Thanks for that useful link. I've been investing for 40 years and am still a novice :-( | sandbank
02/10/2010 08:43 | RHPS upped it's buy limit to 39p which may bring a few more in next week. DC | daicaprice
27/9/2010 11:06 | Thanks - also check out the Sept2010 presentation on the co's website: It mentions Forceval and China! but worth a read anyway, espcially if any readers are here because of MOney Week. | silverfern
26/9/2010 19:49 | Tipped in Money Week. It states that only 5% of the companies sales come from China. However, the firms small size means that any slight growth in Chinese volumes will have a pronounced effect on the price. The firm is relitivley cheap on a forward p/e of 11. Article was looking at future winners as the Chinese increase spending on healthcare. Also tipped Synergy Health SYR, I did not realise that even 5% of sales went to China. | rogerbridge
19/9/2010 00:04 | Matt - can you tell where you have read about an earnings drop? A drop in rate of growth maybe , but still increasing EPS as far as I am aware. | melody9999
18/9/2010 15:58 | Think it's just the reality of forecast earnings drop next year. | matt
17/9/2010 16:42 | Agree silver.Frustrating after the strong results but patience is the key withis one. First had some 5 years ago around 17p and sold too early. | shauney2
17/9/2010 10:03 | what a miserable market reaction so far to the results | silverfern
10/9/2010 16:32 | roundup market makers matching sellar with buyer | goldie40
10/9/2010 15:21 | Can anybody tell why there are so many massive sells today without the price dropping substantially. | roundup
10/9/2010 12:25 | I thought from memory that this year's results include a drug that the aquisition make which the government only buy once every few years. That's why next year's forecasts are lower than this year. | matt
10/9/2010 08:48 | Weird that he thinks it will do better than expected but doesn't change his profit forecast | deucetoace |
