Likely sudden dividend announcement |
CEO departs. Results delayed, and delayed again. I'm a holder, but certainly not the time to be topping saying everything is rosy. All we need now is for the shares to be suddenly suspended... |
If you are so confident this will rise, why do you continue to plaster the advfn site with claims you are selling other shares to buy here? |

alliancepharma :-record revenues up 6% to £182.7m-FY24 profit guideline £50m-strong consumer demand -Free cash flow up 34% to £21.1m |
I've been bitten many times in the past by such hubris. All investment is a calculated risk. At the moment with Alliance the odds are stacked against you. |
That's tricky points, when pictures are clear share price will be skyrocketing values, everyone is waiting for that to buy same time. My point is I buy before anyone buy & sell before anyone sell. UPON TRADING UPDATE ON 29th JANUARY I AM HAPPY ENOUGH TO BUY & HOLD before anyone does. That's most of profit margin is |
The word you use is slowly. My point exactly. Fools rush in. Better to wait for more certainty. If things are all good then shares will recover. Slowly. I should add I'm a long suffering holder here but will only consider averaging down when the picture is clearer. |
Up 40% since the Tuesday lows: of course no one knows the future but the vast majority on this board got things very wrong indeed. |
You could double or halve your money next week ..play at your own risk. ;))) |
I'll make a rough guess based on flow of trades..34-34.50p finish for the week.;) |
It will double up slowly if trading updates correct as mentioned 29th January, YTY basis all encouraging including revenue up , profit up , free cash flow up & debt down. Group Confirmed few times 29th FY TRADING UPDATE ACCURATE. So clues are there |
Simon if that was the case....they would probably having been dealing with some very delicate HR legal issues ...all a big if
Nice to see some opportunistic shorters to get it in the nuts mind they are the bain of AIM |
In Blacky we trust ..... 8-) |

You keep saying you have topped up on the way down why the hell don't you just buy your alloted funds and be done with |
The prospect of these doubling overnight is remote. They could double over a few days or weeks, perhaps. But if things aren't good they could quickly plummet from here. It's all about risk management |

On the Butterfield timing, CMA appeal is 7 months overdue and the CMA clearly stated that not being aware is no excuse. Wouldn't surprise me if Butterfield is disqualified from acting as a director so has the post of CEO in name only and can't sign off the accounts. So all a bit of an administrative mess affecting the audit and the search for a replacement taking longer than planned.
=====
If this turns out to be the reason for the delay and change of CEO it is shockingly poor management by the Chair. The least that could have been done was to keep the market & shareholders fully informed of the process and reasoning. |
Expect to hear some news Monday, new CEO officially starts. |
I must have timed it correctly this time selling at 34p;) |
