Like most Aim CEO/Directors stenick.
also very elusive in diving into their own pockets to buy shares in their own company.

Imagine you had a shell that had a mkt cap of £1M with £500k in cash and tax losses of £100M.

NEOS

This is taking far to long.
Tax losses
still sitting in the accounts £14.5 million which can be offset against future profits in the same health /nutraceutical industry.
Time to get my contact book out to see if any one would like to buy RGT.
3 months before the loan can be called in.

Of course it is why we are here. The biggest gain here is to utilise the tax losses of £100m. The best way to get the tax authorities to agree to allow tax losses to be utilised by a brought in business is if the Company maintain some semblance of a business which caused those losses in the first place.

Unless you are a tax expert or accountant who can argue different ?

Just so you can read up on the relevant tax legislation for yourself, you will find that if there is a major change in the nature of the business those losses are NOT available

16.Chapter 2 of Part 14 of CTA 2010 counters "loss buying" by restricting relief for carried forward corporation tax losses when a company carrying on a trade undergoes a change in ownership and where, • within 3 years of that change in ownership, there is a major change in the nature
or conduct of the trade, or • where the change in ownership occurs after the company's activities in a trade
become small or negligible and before any significant revival of the trade.

At least you do not purport to actually KNOW what you are talking about.

Mind you that rule has been around for ages, unless the new business is substantially the same as the previous one, you can't use the losses brought forward.

I hope that helps and NAI etc

dragging indeed still think they are after RGT tax losses.

Wonder if a company in the pharma industry would be happy to take RGT over and pay the shareholders a decent amount for it.
most of the big boys have an over the counter market.

I think that you are right Stenick "trying to stall the inevitable."
There is, imo no light at the end of the tunnel yet again.
Sometimes I just wonder how these so called "shells" succeed.

On the other hand I have about 7m TAVI - now there's a proactive board. Chairman (Oliver Cooke of AFRI/3DR fame) is the polar opposite of ADI.

He has been very keen to talk and answered all emails and texts etc with as much information as he can.

All his replies have been posted on the TAVI board.

TAVI very similar to ADI - Shell, with cash, no debt, tax losses to utilise. However chairman has a track record of working with shells..

Gave up having any contact with BOD - simply not wanting to talk...

Can't find nowt on the web to suggest anything is happening with planwise etc.

avg is 0.15 - so aint that fussed will sit it out and see what happens now

Still a cracking shell, pity that we didn't pick up a proactive BOD with planwise
