I too shall be opening a Cantor account Monday, although luckily I have put funds earmarked for here, into MDN instead, which has been far more fruitful this week, and furthermore, is still available on IG!

7896 0065 and ask IG group the conditions attached. For example, if daily or rolling bets are only allowed, there may be the prospect of being called in at any one time, as one was with TDM (for example).

If you are going to trade, make sure you don't have a landlord breathing down your neck. If you are forced to do something against your will, then you will lose. The same goes for selling stock to meet one's margin!

Tested. Downbet went through online at 13:17pm.
And 3 MMs immediately drop price!

handycam, I do not believe there is any capacity at IG having just tried again. It looks like we are now on the slide to 80p. If there was any capacity to short we would be a long way further down than here.

Cantor still offering quotes online for March and June. Haven't tested it to see if downward ones go through.. (got enough!)

There is still some capacity at IG and Finspreads. With the latter, some of the punters have squared their positions. My friend has squared all of his, for example and three others have squared between one third and one half of their exposure.

Although someone (anonymous) just pushed the bid up to 91 (1:26pm), two MMs took theirs down to 87 at the same moment.

Edit: I haven't bothered trawling through old announcements re dealings/holdings by directors. Sharescope, and Financial Express, list only two deals - boss M.L.Ricciardelli buying 164,821 at 251p for £414k on 24/3/04 (plus options) and E.B.Jobe buying 27,000 at 203p for £54.8k on 22/9/04

Interesting. Perhaps anyone who needs to know contact addresses etc had better print off details now in case website gets changed further.

I see they now give a provisional date of April 4 for next results announcement - one day before UK tax year ends (still showing as 16 March on Sharescope, presumably guessed at from last year)
