LDMachin.......

When the FSA look into these aspects, I'm sure they will get a suspicious taste of fraud and nail him for it. The FSA will do a very thorough investigation if they catch the scent of a rip-off merchant - no matter who it is!

I just hope he doesn't nobble the FSA like he nobbled his buddy pals - the administrators!!

The FSA will love the FACT that Jez had already set up this new Morpheme company BEFORE resigning as a director of AGT Games. It will not look good for him and I'm sure he will struggle to provide answers to that. It is an obvious 'conflict of interest' IMO.

Harry......Don't talk wet. If Jez has'nt got the decency to keep shareholders in the picture, he would'nt have the decency to provide anything for them. He's in this for himself - ONLY!

Besides, He no longer works for Argonaut Games. Why should a former CEO help old shareholders out?

Off out now - Evening all.

steviii,

"I would say they probably were'nt given time to mount a bid considering the 'hush hush' approach by the administrators and the rapid speed in which the deals went through"

That's putting it lighty! Jez had already set up a new Morpheme company even before the administrators were appointed! The FSA are investigating.

If Jez doesn't get judged for his actions in this life, he certainly will have to do so by our maker in the next, good luck to him, he'll need it.

Cheers.

LDMachin.....

The problem is that this kind of 'corporate theft' goes on all too often and they get away with it.

I think it is totally disgusting how they are keeping shareholders in the dark by any means possible. Jez + co has'nt the slightest care in the world for you shareholders and that's why you all need to fight this.

My friend has a few AGT shares and he's resigned to losing his cash. If it were me I would'nt expect a loss in this way and certainly would'nt except it without any viable explanation.

Suppose, like yourself, a lot of people will have lost a LOT of money here. If the company had gone into administration will a load of debt - fair enough but this isn't the case. No doubt Jez will offload his new Morpheme company and bank the profits all in a days work and still be classed as a 'saviour of the company' It beggars belief!

Also....Certain parties are now interested in buying this new Morpheme from Jez. It makes me ask the question of WHY these certain companies were'nt interested in buying Morpheme directly from the administrators a few weeks back?

Hazard a guess - I would say they probably were'nt given time to mount a bid considering the 'hush hush' approach by the administrators and the rapid speed in which the deals went through.....Of course this was in the interests of the companies + workers - LOL...My foot!

All the best in your efforts !

stev111,

The really sad thing is, at the suspension price of 3p Argonaut Games was valued at a market cap of £3m. Jez could have bought the whole company for approx. £1.7m (because he is already a 42% shareholder), saving something for shareholders and saving lots and lots of jobs and saving the SCi contract. But he decided to do it this way instead...

Cheers.

Look at this board for June and July
"It will reach 80p! FILL YOUR BOOTS!", was the cry.
The games deals got pulled; the coffers ran dry.
Liabilities spiralled and no-one knows why.
The shareholders sit, bemoaning their fate,
"I'll stick to blue chip", they mutter, too late.
The nature of risk; it's always a game,
We should code it for X-Box; oh dear, what a shame!
The investors are furious, counting the cost,
With little regard for the jobs that were lost.
The staff that worked hard, clinging to hope,
While hapless shareholders complained to the pope.
"We want our vengeance!", the action group's told.
But revenge is a dish always best eaten cold!
Waste not your energy in action forlorn,
Pick up your lives, gird your belts and move on!

targatarga,

Jez San setup the new Morpheme business 5 days before the administrators were called in on the subsiduaries, you can bet he knew they were going to be put into administration long before he let the market know. Let's hope the FSA are doing a thorough investigation.

Cheers.

Daisy777,

Because we're being kept in the dark for a reason. If this was all above board, i'm sure John Crilly and the other directors of our company (that is not in administration) would be more forecoming with information.

Cheers.

I suppose Jez can still argue that he was just taking precautions to have a back up "rescue" plan, in case no bidders came forward...

...And Jez didn't resign until the 25th Oct, meaning he set up the company while he was still CEO of Argonaut Games PLC. Conflict of interests, looking after himself and not shareholders. More evidence.

Cheers.
