I'm staying in too. Last yr's double may have been faster than we'll see for a while as the investment at Biggin Hill may have dented the company's balance for a while until operations begin but a £5m lease for 80 yrs looks as if aip expects to be gradually growing its scope in a very good location which still has capacity for small jets. Expect poss £15 price by end financial yr imo

Me too. I bought at 680 in May 06 and 663 in July. Haven't sold any yet.

The company has recently been re-rated, so it probably won't rise so quickly going forward. Still a solid, well-run outfit operating in a commercial sweet spot, imv, and the Biggin Hill news appears to have been well received. I see no reason why the climb should not continue. Take over is also possible (see previous posts).

Aeroplane charter firm Air Partner hit turbulence and closed 37½p lower at 1247½p on profit-taking. The shares have soared 83% in the last year alone. Broker Charles Stanley lifted its 2007 pretax profit forecast by £1m to £6.49m as the private jet market continues to show strong growth. Biggin Hill, one of the locations from which AP operates, has seen traffic rise by 39%plus over the last 12 months.

Yep Rey...didn't see the interview but what a solid business this is....bid would definitely do nicely. I'm expecting further rises and £12 shortly:-)))

pre, did you see the interview with Chief Exec, David Savile, in the Sunday Times? Very positive. Quote: "I bet you they are bought by Netjets or Hogg Robinson within five years" says one banker, who predicts a £20 share price.

Mkt Cap of £99.3m (9.93m shares by £10) forecast eps of 40p so even taking out the cash of £17m they are still on a p/e of 20.

what is the market cap of this company please?I'm trying to see what the PE is without the £17m of cash they have.Excellent intrims-what is the forecast eps for the full year?50p? take the cash out and PE still less than 20?

Moving up now on virtually every purchase. My guess is 1050 in the short term, falling back to 1000 ish on profit taking.
