Posted at 24/7/2015 19:12 by trident5 the ticker is now AIR, not AIP. |
Posted at 24/7/2015 18:28 by pvb I suppose we will have to wait until Monday now to discover why AIP is currently "delisted" by ADVFN. :-( |

Posted at 11/6/2015 14:55 by robsy2 Happy Days .I wasn't expecting quite so much so quickly but I'm not complainingand I won't be in a hurry to take profits. This is a stock that has fallen from grace and been punished . The market often goes from one extreme to another. They have been in business a long time , they operate in a competitive market, aren't they all ? but they have a decent footprint and can be confident if they get their eyes back on the ball. No reason why this can't fly back up to it's original altitude and go even higher.(Apologies)I plan to sit back and enjoy the ride. The dividend gives the whole thing a lot of backbone as well. |
Posted at 11/6/2015 14:08 by masurenguy Another 5.5% rise today on a very modest volume. The shareprice has increased by 20% over the past 4 weeks with a 15.4p dividend due on Monday as further icing on the cake. Another 10% to go in order to achieve the Liberium 480p price target. |

This represents a yield of 4%. The ex-dividend date of this dividend is Thursday, May 14th. On the ratings front, analysts at Liberum Capital reiterated a “buy” rating and set a 400p price target on shares of Air Partner plc in a research note on Friday, March 13th. Some positive press coverage of yesterdays acquisition. Air Partner spreads its wings in private jets In Europe’s rapidly consolidating executive jet market, Air Partner, the quoted aviation broker, has acquired a specialist in leasing out homeless or distressed aircraft. Cabot Aviation works with airlines directly, or with banks and insolvency practitioners, to find homes for aircraft that are no longer affordable for their owners. It is working to lease the unwanted Embraer aircraft that are weighing heavily on FlyBe, on the Airbus aircraft made redundant by the receivership of Cyprus Airways, and on a fleet of ageing Chinese Boeing 747 freighters. Air Partner is hoping that Cabot can repeat the trick in the executive jet market. “The deal brings us new opportunities to go for,” Mark Briffa, Air Partner’s chief executive, said of a deal that is costing his company £1.2m. Posted at 30/4/2015 18:17 by dozey1 Today, Thursday 30 April according to Sharescope, instead of the usual volume of below 50k AIP shares traded there were 1.41m traded. The small rise in the share price suggests some sort of roll-over trade, but does anyone with ears to the ground have more information? Of course it may be a mistake. |

Posted at 20/4/2015 16:06 by speedsgh Let's hope they don't disappoint, then! Wouldn't be the first time that insiders have taken PIs for suckers. That is in general, not necessarily at AIP. So long as the ship is steady + the dividend meets forecast, I'll be relatively happy. |
Posted at 04/12/2014 15:19 by nehpets81 Yeah, oil price will certainly help for most of the business, AIP does do some work for the oil and gas industry though so they might put off some projects. With two divisions trading as expected and one (albeit small) doing better than expected and that massive cash pile, the stonking dividend yields looks fairly safe so I think I might take a position here after watching on the sidelines for a year or so. |
