18/1/2024 08:00 | Meet Lucy Lucy was a premium Black Angus cow from a breeding farm in California. Ranchers around the world would purchase Lucy’s fertilized eggs and use them to improve the quality of their livestock. We needed a source of premium cow cells and needed to look no further than Lucy. She passed away in June, 2022. We have no plans to raise cows because all we need is a one-time collection of Lucy’s fertilized eggs. From there, we can grow high-quality, tasty, and nutritious Aleph Cuts (without the rest of the cow). When at scale, we expect to grow thousands of tons of steak from this single collection. | someuwin

18/1/2024 07:09 | Israel Awards the World's First Regulatory Approval for Cultivated Beef Agronomics (LON: ANIC), a leading listed company in cellular agriculture, is pleased to announce that the Israeli Ministry of Health (IMOH) has granted regulatory approval for the world's first commercial sale of cultivated beef. Agronomics would like to congratulate Aleph Farms on becoming the first company in the world to gain regulatory approval for its cultivated beef product after the IMOH issued a 'no questions' letter, which allows the company to commercialise its products in Israel. Aleph Farms has also filed for regulatory approval in Singapore, Switzerland, the UK and the US, and is advancing its applications in other markets. Agronomics is aware of multiple companies, including those within its portfolio, that are expecting regulatory approvals for cultivated meat and seafood products across several markets. Meanwhile, Vow Food is in the middle of a consultation process after its cultured quail was cleared as safe to eat by Food Standards Australia and New Zealand in December 2023. These announcements follow Upside Foods and Good Meat, which received regulatory approval for their cultivated chicken products in the US last year. Jim Mellon, Executive Chairman of Agronomics commented:"This approval is another significant step forward for our industry and shows the commitment among an increasing number of jurisdictions to find more sustainable production methods to meet the increasing global demand for protein. We look forward to seeing some of Agronomics' portfolio companies achieving this significant milestone in the near future." | masurenguy
17/1/2024 15:03 | The fact that the insanely huge Saudi futuristic mega project NEOM is backing BlueNalu (alongside ANIC), shows how important the whole business is becoming... "...We have seen successful progress across the portfolio this year. Post period end cultivated seafood producer BlueNalu, of which we own 5.12%, signed an MoU with NEOM, entering a strategic partnership to progress the commercialisation, marketing, and distribution of its cell-cultured seafood products. The NEOM Investment Fund also led Blue Nalu’s $35m Series B round with a US $20 million investment. These developments exemplify the demand for cellular agriculture as food insecurity continues to rise across the globe, and climate change and the fragility of supply chains persist." | someuwin
17/1/2024 13:56 | "...Liberation Labs broke ground during the summer, and the build is on track to be completed in Q1 2025 when it will host its first precision fermentation customers. There continues to be a lack of fermentation capacity as the new wave of applications of biomanufacturing enters commercialisation. Today there are approximately 61 million litres of operating bioreactor capacity worldwide, and according to projections from Boston Consulting Group, 15 megatonnes of animal protein will be produced via microbes by 2030 which will require 100x the current capacity. Liberation Labs has a clear leadership position in the expansion of this capacity, yet is adding only 1% capacity as legacy facilities, particularly in Europe, approach the end of their economic life. Liberation Labs is the only contract manufacturer dedicated to building fit-for-purpose industrial-scale precision fermentation plants and Agronomics currently owns 37.4% of Liberation Labs." | someuwin

16/1/2024 22:30 | Wonder why the other thread bans the truth ?? They must be very concerned why the price has been falling rapidly. ANIC concerns need to be highlighted without a cover up. ANIC stands for .... ANother Incompetent Company... hence Share now falling towards 9p support or lower. Investors need to know the Truth. | halfpenny
